Neptunus was very productive off of Japanese starter Sora Sakashita, who gave up twelve basehits and seven runs.
Leading 7-2, Neptunus added three runs in both the seventh and eighth inning to reach a 10-run difference to end the game via the mercy-rule.
Neptunus scored its first run in the top of the first inning.
Sakashita saw lead-off hitter Stijn van der Meer reach on an infield-hit, then also gave up a single to John Polonius.
With two outs, Van der Meer scored on a single by Dudley Leonora.
Neptunus rallied for four runs in the second at bat.
All runs were unearned due to two errors.
Lead-off hitter Quintin De Cuba reached on an error, then Darryl Collins singled, which led to runners at the corners.
The two were awarded the next base on a balk, which meant that De Cuba scored.
With two outs, John Polonius delivered a runscoring single.
Hereafter, Dwayne Kemp also singled and later stole second base.
Polonius then scored on a single by Dashenko Ricardo, which was followed by another error, which enabled Kemp to score the fourth run in the inning.
Neptunus continued its scoring in the next two innings.
In the third, Shaldimar Daantji led off with a single, advanced to third base on a throwing error during a pick-off, then scored on an one-out single by Darryl Collins.

This ended the evening for Sakashita, who was relieved by Finn Kops.

With Neptunus now leading 13-2, Berry van Driel took over the pitching in the bottom of the eighth inning.
However, the veteran righthander threw only one pitch.
His first delivery to Shurman Marlin ended up in leftfield for a double.
After throwing the pitch, Van Driel shook with his arm, walked from the mound and started walking towards the Neptunus dug-out, apparently with an injury.
He was replaced by Elton Koeiman, who walked next batter Brian Biezen.
With two outs, Koeiman (who also is the team's Pitching Coach) got the bases loaded when he hit Mick Vos with a pitch.
But the three runners were left behind when a flyout ended the inning.
And that also ended the game, as the 10-run difference had been reached.
