Not much happened in the first eight innings of this game.
The lone inning that accounted for the win was the ninth, as it was in that at bat that HCAW scored the lone run in this game.

For Ruben, this was his first triple since hitting one on May 28, 2017 in the second inning, while playing for UVV against Amsterdam Pirates.
Back then, Linoy Croes, Patrick Bok and Dennis Burgersdijk, his current teammates at HCAW, played for Pirates.

A pinch-runner was then inserted at second base for Bonevacia.
He was replaced by Luuk ter Beek, who was the starting pitcher in Thursday's game.
Clara struckout the next batter, but then gave up a single to Leandro Anasagasti, who was his teammate last season at DSS.
Ter Beek was waved home from second base and scored what would be the lone run in the game.
