(Story by Marco Stoovelaar) Opener Neptunus vs. HCAW cancelled by rain Nederlands ROTTERDAM (Neth.) - The opening game between Curaçao Neptunus and HCAW on Thursday-evening (August 13) has been cancelled due to rain. There was some drizzling rain in Rotterdam on Thursday-evening and initially, the scheduled starting time (7:30 PM) was postponed for 30 minutes. However, around 7:35 PM, the game was cancelled. The game has been re-scheduled for coming Tuesday (August 18). Both Head Coaches confirmed that they will keep their announced starting pitching rotations intact for the 3-game series. That means that LHP Diegomar Markwell, RHP Orlando Yntema and RHP Kaj Timmermans now will start on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, respectively. Starting for HCAW on these days will be RHP Luuk ter Beek, RHP Dennis Burgersdijk and LHP Nick Keur. (August 13)
