On Thursday-evening, both teams were retired in order in the first inning by starting pitchers Jhan Rifaela (Quick Amersfoort) and Koen Postelmans (Twins Oosterhout).
The latter struckout Ademar Rifaela in his first big league at bat to close the first inning.
Rifaela was added to the roster of Quick earlier this week.
The outfielder played for the Netherlands Baseball Team in 2018 and 2019.
He played professionally in the organization of the Baltimore Orioles since 2013, but became a Free Agent in November last year.
Thursday-evening, Rifaela made his debut in the Dutch big league.
In the top of the second inning, Twins opened the score.
Jason Halman led off with a double, moved on a single by Shurman Marlin and scored when next batter Ruendrick Piternella also singled.
Quick-pitcher Jhan Rifaela, who made his first start of the season, then struckout the next batter.
Hereafter, a double steal-attempt ended in Marlin being eliminated at third base and a flyout ended the at bat.
In the top of the third inning, two more Twins-runners were caught stealing.
With one out, Tyriq Kemp singled, but was caught stealing moments later.
Hereafter, Rayshelon Carolina singled, but he also was caught stealing after a pick-off.
Quick, which also was retired in order in the second inning, came alongside in the third.
With two outs and Emeron Lourens (fielder's choice) on first base, Denzel Brooks doubled.
Lourens then scored when a balk was called, but Brooks stranded on third base.
In the fourth inning, both teams scored a run.
In the top of the at bat, Junior Martina led off with a double and then advanced on a flyout.
With Martina on third base, Shurman Marlin walked.

In the bottom of the fourth, Quick tied the score again.
Ademar Rifaela led off with a walk, then moved into scoring position thanks to a single by Bryan Engelhardt.
The two runners advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Tijmen Takke.
With first base open, it was decided to walk Taylor Clemensia intentionally to set up a force play.
However, all runners then advanced on a passed ball, which means that Rifaela scored the tying run.
The other runners stranded on second and third base, as a groundout and strikeout followed.
In the top of the fifth inning, Twins immediately got a chance to take the lead for the third time.
With one out, Tyriq Kemp and Rayshelon Carolina both walked.
Next batter Junior Martina popped the ball up in the infield and was called out for infield-fly.
But short stop Denzel Brooks dropped the ball he just had caught and on this error, the two runners moved to second and third base.
That brought Jason Halman in the batter's box.
The first pitch to Halman was a ball and he then fouled off the next two pitches.
Just as pitcher Jhan Rifaela was ready for his next delivery, there was lightning.
Home Plate Umpire Efrem Silvania immediately made the correct call and signaled that everyone had to leave the field.
Ten minutes later, it started to rain heavily and 24 minutes after the game was interrupted, it was definitively halted.
Sometimes, a pitcher takes some time between throwing pitches.
But it took lefthander Jhan Rifaela 118 hours and 36 minutes to throw his next pitch to batter Jason Halman.
That was the first pitch he threw tonight when the game resumed in the top of the fifth inning.
Rifaela started on Thursday and tonight, he returned to the mound for Quick.
As mentioned, the game was halted in the middle of Halman's at bat, who tonight stepped into the batter's box with an 1-2 count.
Halman connected on the first pitch that Rifaela threw and reached on a single.
On this hit, the two runners that were on the bases (Kemp, Carolina) both scored to put Twins ahead, 4-2.
Hereafter, Rifaela walked Shurman Marlin, but closed with a strikeout.
Twins inserted a new pitcher when it took the field in the bottom of the fifth, as Javier Montero took over from Koen Postelmans, who had been the starter on Thursday.
He immediately got some traffic on the bases, but gave up no runs.
Emeron Lourens led off with a doubled and Denzel Brooks walked, but the first was caught stealing at third base.
Next, Brooks was forced out on a grounder by Rachid Engelhardt.
After he had stolen second base, Ademar Rifaela walked.
The two runners advanced on a wild pitch, but stranded on second and third base when Montero closed by striking out powerhitter Bryan Engelhardt.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Quick rallied with two outs.
With one out, Taylor Clemensia walked and with two outs, the bases got loaded when Jordy Burger and Emeron Lourens both singled.
A pitching change followed, as Pastor Enrique Martínez Chavez took over from Montero.
With the bases loaded, he was greeted with a runscoring single by Denzel Brooks, then gave up a 2-run single to Rachid Engelhardt.
As an error followed, Quick got runners on second and third base.
Hereafter, it was Ademar Rifaela who delivered a 2-run single, which lifted Quick's lead to 7-4.
Martínez got the bases loaded when he walked Bryan Engelhardt and Tijmen Takke.
The three runners were left behind when a pop-fly ended the long at bat.
Quick Amersfoort added an insurance run in the seventh inning, again with two outs.
With one out, Jordy Burger walked.
With two outs, he stole second base, then moved to third base on a throwing error.
Moments later, he scored when next batter Denzel Brooks reached on an error.
It also led to another pitching change, as Pastor Enrique Martínez Chavez was relieved by Raf Cocu.
While leaving the field, Martínez made some remarks and was ejected by 1B Umpire Roy van de Wateringen.
Cocu began with a walk for Rachid Engelhardt, but then closed with a strikeout.
Trailing 8-4, Twins came back in the top of the eighth.
In the previous two at bats, the team got only one baserunner off of Jhan Rifaela, but was more successful in the eighth.
Like Quick, Twins also scored its runs with two outs.
With one out, Ruendrick Piternella singled and with two outs, Diamond Silberie walked.
Both scored when Mick Vos followed with a double.
Moments later, Vos scored on a single by Tyriq Kemp, which ended the evening for Rifaela.
He was relieved by Jan-Willem Geerts, who got an inning-ending flyout.
In the top of the ninth, Geerts walked lead-off hitter Junior Martina and was relieved by Wendell Floranus.
When he had finished his warm-up tosses, Martina was picked off first base by catcher Jules Cremer and Floranus struckout the first batter he faced.
A grounder then ended the inning and the game, which gave Floranus his second save of the season.
