With a 6-2 lead, Twins more or less decided the game with a 4-run rally with two outs in the top of the seventh.
Storks-reliever William Sowers got two quick outs, but then gave up a single to Jerzy van Gool and a double to Mick Vos.
That was followed by an outfield-error, which enabled Van Gool to score.
The bases then got loaded when Sowers walked Tyriq Kemp and hit Rayshelon Carolina with a pitch.
Jason Halman then connected well and delivered a 2-run single.
A wild pitch enabled Carolina to score and that lifted the lead to 10-2.
The scoring wasn't over yet for Twins, which added two more runs in the eighth.

Pinch-hitter Railison Bentura (who made his debut) was at first base via a force play, then scored on a double by Mick Vos.
The latter scored the twelfth run for Twins when Tyriq Kemp recorded hit fifth basehit and reached base for the sixth time.
Now trailing 12-2, Storks avoided a 10-run difference mercy-rule loss by scoring two runs in the bottom of the eighth.
In this inning, Pastor Enrique Martínez Chavez was the third Twins-pitcher.
