 Starting Pitchers coming series; Amsterdam Pirates returns to action

 AMSTERDAM (Neth.) -
Most probable starting pitchers for the upcoming 3-game series have been announced.
Of course, as always, starting assignments can change on game-days.
On Thursday-evening, reigning champion L&D Amsterdam Pirates will return to action.
The last five games of the team were postponed due to three positive cases of the coronavirus.
Pirates will make up its first game coming Tuesday (September 29) at home against Curaçao Neptunus.
The second game between these two teams will be made up on Tuesday, October 6 in Rotterdam.
The 3-game series of Amsterdam Pirates against HCAW has been re-scheduled for next week, Thursday, October 1, Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4.

 Twins Oosterhout still has several injuries to deal with.
Last Sunday, RHP Jan Evertse made his first appearance of the season.
Coming weekend, Twins probably will have the young righthanded German pitcher Simon Gross on its roster.
