Neptunus opened the score with three runs in the top of the first inning off of starter Juan Carlos Sulbaran.
With one out, John Polonius singled and scored the first run on a following double by Dwayne Kemp.
After next batter Gianison Boekhoudt walked, Dashenko Ricardo and Dudley Leonora contributed with runscoring singles.
Amsterdam Pirates answered with two runs in its first at bat off of starter Kaj Timmermans.
Roelie Henrique led off with a walk, then Denzel Richardson singled with one out.
With two outs, the bases got loaded when Kenny Berkenbosch also singled, then Rashid Gerard followed with a 2-run single.

Three runs were then scored in the third inning, which began with an appeal-double play.
Gianison Boekhoudt led off with double, then Dashenko Ricardo flied out to rightfield.
Boekhoudt advanced to third base, but had left second base too early.
The Pirates-defense put on an appeal play, Boekhoudt was called out and a double play was recorded.
But hereafter, Neptunus scored three more runs.
Dudley Leonora walked and Shaldimar Daantji was hit by a pitch, then both scored on a triple by Darryl Collins, who scored himself on a following single by Jarreau Martina.
In the fourth, Neptunus scored twice.
John Polonius led off with a single, his third basehit in three at bats.
After next batter Dwayne Kemp flied out, a pitching change followed.
Donny Breek took over for Sulbaran to make his first appearance in a Pirate-uniform.
He saw Polonius steal second base, then walked Gianison Boekhoudt.
The two runners moved on a wild pitch.
Breek struckout Dashenko Ricardo, but then gave up a 2-run single to Dudley Leonora, which lifted the lead to 9-2.
Pirates reached base only once in the second and third inning combined, but then was productive again in the fourth.
With one out, Delano Selassa doubled.
Next, the bases were loaded when both Niels van Weert and Max Clarijs were hit by a pitch.
A single by Roelie Henrique and a walk for Gilmer Lampe resulted in two runs and a pitching change.
Timmermans was relieved by Berry van Driel, who faced Denzel Richardson.

Neptunus scored another run in the sixth off of new pitcher Mike Groen, who had entered the game with one out in the fifth after Donny Breek had reached his pitch-count.
In the sixth, Dwayne Kemp and Gianison Boekhoudt both walked and got into scoring position via a double-steal.
But Kemp was then eliminated in a rundown on a grounder towards third base from Dashenko Ricardo.
In this situation, Boekhoudt moved to third base, then scored on a force play-grounder by Dudley Leonora.
In the bottom of the sixth, Pirates its sixth run.
Aaron de Groot took over the pitching for Neptunus in this at bat.
He began with a strikeout, but then gave up a homerun to Roelie Henrique that made it a 10-6 score.
In the top of the seventh, Neptunus came close to its next run.
Darryl Collins led off with his second triple in the game, but stranded on third base, as the next three batters were retired.

Neptunus took a more comfortable lead in the top of the ninth, scoring three runs on five hits off of reliever Naut Kragt.
With one out, Darryl Collins singled.
With two outs, Kragt gave up four consecutive singles.
First, Collins scored on a single by Stijn van der Meer and John Polonius followed with his fourth basehit in the game.
Dwayne Kemp and Gianison Boekhoudt delivered runscoring singles that lifted the lead to 13-6 and brought in Shairon Martis as new pitcher.
He got an inning-ending grounder.
With his single in this at bat, Boekhoudt reached base in all his six plate appearances in this game.
He walked four times, singled and doubled and scored three runs.
