DSS/Kinheim scored early, but was unable to take more distance.
The team scored twice in the top of the first inning, then was held scoreless in the remainder of the game.

In the top of the first inning, DSS/Kinheim produced three basehits off of Sora Sakashita.
In the following eight innings, the Japanese righthander would give up only two more basehits, got some baserunners in scoring position, but didn't give up more runs.
With that, he would throw the first 9-inning complete game of the 2020 season.
And it was the first for Twins since 2016 when countryman Keiji Uezono did so.
He even threw two 9-innings complete games during that season, as mentioned above.
However, in the first inning, it didn't looked like Sakashita would stay in the game all innings, as three of the first four batters he faced produced a basehit, resulting in two runs.
Thomas Bos led off with a single, then Jochem Koedijk flied out.
Hereafter, Jeldwin Orman delivered a double and both runners scored when Tino van Erk followed with a single.
But that was to be it.
Kevin Nieveld lined out and Donny Kuijper flied out to end the inning.

He walked lead-off hitter Tyriq Kemp, who stole second base with two outs.
Moments later, Kemp scored on a single by Jason Halman.

Hereafter, both Sakashita and Wassink kept each other in balance.
Both got baserunners, but didn't gave up runs.
DSS/Kinheim got three baserunners from the second through sixth inning.
With one out in the top of the second inning, Nick Hofer doubled and advanced on a grounder, but stranded on third base.
In the fourth, Wesley van Hemert walked with two outs, but was caught stealing.
And in the sixth, Jeldwin Orman walked with one out, but was eliminated in a double play.
Twins also got only three baserunners from the second through the fifth inning.

In the fourth, Shurman Marlin led off with a single, but was the first out in an inning-ending double play.
In the fifth, Brian Biezen led off with a walk, advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Mick Vos and stole third base, but was left behind.
Trailing 2-1, Twins turned the game around in the bottom of the sixth.
Junior Martina led off with a walk and Jason Halman singled.
With one out, Martina scored the tying run on a single by Ruendrick Piternella.
A wild pitch led to runners on second and third base, then Halman scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly by Diamond Silberie.
Twins Oosterhout was retired in order in the next two innings.
DSS/Kinheim got two more chances to come at least alongside.
With one out in the seventh, Donny Kuijper singled and Wesley van Hemert walked.
Kuijper's pinch-runner Koen Halderman and Van Hemert advanced, but then were left behind.
After being retired in order in the eighth, DSS/Kinheim got two more runners in the ninth.
With one out, Tijmen Nagel was hit by a pitch and with two outs, Wesley van Hemert walked for the third time in this game.
A grounder then ended the inning and the game.
