Twins Oosterhout had a good start this afternoon in the Pim Mulier Stadium.
The first four batters reached base safely and two of them scored a run.
DSS/Kinheim-starter Jelle Bing got the bases loaded quickly, as Tyriq Kemp, Rayshelon Carolina and Junior Martina all singled.
Next, everyone was safe on a force play-grounder by Jason Halman.
Third baseman Kevin Nieveld threw the ball to catcher Aidan Finnegan, but Kemp scored.
With the bases still loaded, an infield-fly followed, then Carolina scored the next run on a sacrifice fly in foul territory by Ruendrick Piternella.
A flyout ended the at bat and so, two runners were left behind.
In the remainder of the game, Twins Oosterhout was held scoreless.
Through the sixth inning, the team got only two runners in scoring position, which happened to be the same player.
With one out in the second, Mick Vos reached on an error and advanced on a sacrifice bunt, but stranded on second base.
After DSS/Kinheim-starter Jelle Bing picked off a runner in the third inning and struckout the side in the fourth, he saw Mick Vos reach base again in the fifth.
This time, he led off with a walk, again advanced on a sac-bunt by Tyriq Kemp.
However, he again was left behind on second base.
Twins-starter Koen Postelmans encountered no problems in the first two innings, but then gave up a run in the third.
He hit lead-off hitter Nick Hofer with a pitch, who then was moved into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Bram Blokker.
Hofer advanced to third base on a flyout and scored on a single by Jochem Koedijk.
The Twins-defense turned a double play in the fourth inning, then DSS/Kinheim was retired in order in the fifth.
But in the bottom of the sixth, the Haarlem-team came alongside, scoring an unearned run.

When Jeldwin Orman's pop-fly was caught in foul territory, Bos managed to move up to third base.
Moments later, he scored the tying run when Tino van Erk reached on an error.
With the score tied at 2-2 in the top of the seventh, Twins got the bases loaded with two outs.
After two grounders had accounted for the first two outs, Tyriq Kemp singled, Rayshelon Carolina reached on an error and Junior Martina walked.
They all were left behind, as a flyout ended the at bat.
In the eighth inning, off of reliever Robyn Clara, Twins got into scoring position again.

In the bottom of the eighth, DSS/Kinheim scored what would be the decisive run, which was created off of three pitchers.
Koen Postelmans gave up singles to Bram Blokker and Thomas Bos, then was relieved by Javier Montero.
The Spanish righthander saw the two runners advance on a passed ball, then walked Jochem Koedijk, which loaded the bases.
That led to another pitching change.
Pastor Enrique Martínez Chavez took over, but he was welcomed with a runscoring single by Jeldwin Orman.
Blokker scored and the bases remained loaded.
Martínez followed with a strikeout, then a double play ended the at bat, but DSS/Kinheim led 3-2.
With one out in the top of the ninth, Twins got two baserunners off of Robyn Clara.
Rayshelon Carolina walked and reached base for the fourth time, then Junior Martina singled.
But the inning and the game ended when next batter Jason Halman grounded into a double play.
