Neptunus wins exhibition game against Twins Oosterhout

ROTTERDAM (Neth.) -
Curaçao Neptunus opened its exhibition season on a windy Saturday (April 17) with a 7-3 victory at home in an 8-inning game against Twins Oosterhout.
Both teams inserted four pitchers in their first game of the year.
Diegomar Markwell (three innings), Orlando Yntema (two), Kevin Kelly (two) and Misja Harcksen (one) took the mound for Neptunus this afternoon.
Former Major Leaguer Roger Bernadina made his Neptunus-debut.
Last year, the outfielder made his comeback in the Dutch big league when he played for Quick Amersfoort.
Koen Postelmans started for Twins Oosterhout and threw three innings.
He was then succeeded by Jan van den Hurk, who pitched the next two innings for the team of Head Coach Jeffrey Arends.
In the bottom of the sixth, American lefthander Tyson Quolas made his debut in a Twins-uniform and threw one inning.
Last year, he pitched for UVV in the second highest league.
Raf Cocu then closed the game and threw the final two innings.
Jeffrey Bentsnijder and Rudsel Schoobaar were the umpires in today's game.
