 Starting Pitchers coming series

Coming Thursday-evening (May 27), the fifth 3-game series is about to start in the Dutch big league.
The series continues on Saturday and Sunday.
Although the eight teams haven't all faced each other yet in this season, the upcoming series will be a replay of two weeks ago.
Back then, the same teams played against each other as will be the case this time.
Last Tuesday, two make-ups were scheduled to be played.
One rained out again, the second was halted in the second inning.
Both games are now re-scheduled for coming Tuesday, June 1.
Unfortunately, according to the weather predictions, some rain is expected for the coming night, as well as on Thursday-morning.
It is expected that temperatures will rise with sunnier conditions from Friday on.
On Thursday-evening, lefthander Diegomar Markwell will make his fifth start of the season for Curaçao Neptunus at home against Hoofddorp Pioniers.
When Neptunus wins this game and Markwell is the winning pitcher, this will be his 150th career win in a regular season-game.
Markwell can also reach another milestone, as he needs only eight more strikeouts to reach the 1,000 mark.
Two pitchers will make their first start of the season, both on Thursday-evening.
Righthander Scott Prins then makes his first appearance for Hoofddorp Pioniers.
After returning from college in the USA, he was scheduled to start last Saturday, but that game rained out and was re-scheduled for Tuesday.
Prins also was to be the starter then, but the game again was cancelled due to the weather conditions.
Righthander Darryl Jamoena will start for Silicon Storks against HCAW after having made four relief-appearances.
The starting pitchers for HCAW have not yet been announced.
It is expected that RHP Lars Huijer and LHP Jim Ploeger will be the starters in the first two games, but that has not been confirmed yet.
Last Tuesday, RHP Dennis Burgersdijk started in the make-up game against Quick Amersfoort, which was halted due to rain in the second inning.
Burgersdijk, who has been the Game 3 starter so far, threw ten pitches in Tuesday's game.

The starting pitchers for coming Tuesday's make-up games have not yet been announced.
As always, these assignments can change on game-days.
This season, the starting pitchers will be published (or updated) on Wednesday-evening, as some of the teams conduct their practice sessions on Wednesday instead of Tuesday, which has to do with the testing of the players for the games on Thursday.
