Starting Pitchers coming series

AMSTERDAM -
On Thursday-evening (May 5), the first game is scheduled of the next 3-game series in the Dutch big league.
In this round, Quick Amersfoort has no games scheduled, due to the odd total of teams in the highest division.
At the moment, Quick is in last place with an 1-10 record and one tie.
In the upcoming series, last years Holland Series-finalists L&D Amsterdam Pirates and Curaçao Neptunus will meet each other for the first time this season.
Both teams have won eight games and encountered some pitching-problems, which resulted in several small wins and some surprising losses.
The Head Coaches of both teams have only announced a (probable) starter for the opening-game on Thursday.
Last Sunday, Pirates-righthander Mike Groen returned to the mound, but while pitching to the second batter in the first inning, he sustained a new injury and will be sidelined again.
Unbeaten league-leader HCAW comes back into action after having been the team without games a week ago.
HCAW plays against Twins Oosterhout, which recorded a convincing win last Sunday against Neptunus after having lost the first two games with a small run-difference.
RCH Memorie Sieraden, which swept Quick Amersfoort in the previous series, will play against Hoofddorp Pioniers, which recorded two big wins against Storks last week.
And DSS/Kinheim, which had two convincing wins against reigning champion Pirates, will play its series against Silicon Storks.
Like Pirates and Neptunus, the starters for these two teams are unclear at the moment.
DSS/Kinheim only announced a starter for the opener, while the Storks-rotation was initially not clear yet.
Beneath are the announced starters for the games in the upcoming series.
As always, these assignments can change on game-days.
