From there, the home-team hold onto the lead.
RCH scored its first two runs in the top of the first inning off of Rutger Zwaal, who went the distance for Sparks Haarlem.
Due to an error, both runs were unearned.
Daan Groenewoud led off with a walk and stole second base.
With out, Jesse Aussems delivered a single.
That moved Groenewoud to third base, who continued to the plate, but would have been eliminated there.
However, on the throw from the outfield, an error was made and so, Groenewoud scored.
On the throw, Aussems advanced to second base and he went on to score on a 2-out single by Leandro Anasagasti.
RCH was then retired in order in its next two at bats.
