UVV was outhit 6-5 by Quick Amersfoort tonight and trailed 1-0 halfway the sixth inning.
The team then turned the game around in its sixth at bat, took over the lead and hold onto it.
Quick Amersfoort got several baserunners in the second through seventh inning, but managed to score only one run.
UVV also got on base regularly in these at bats, was kept scoreless in the first five innings, but then was able to turn the game around by scoring three runs.
Quick got three batters on base in the second at bat off of starter Jurjen van Zijl, but none of them got into scoring position.
Marvin Jakobus led off with a single, but was eliminated when he tried to reach second base.
With two outs, Pascal Zegwaard walked and was forced out on a grounder by Amar van Zwieten.

With two outs in the fourth inning, Quick opened the score with an unearned run.
Jurjen van Zijl struckout the first two batters, but then gave up a single to Rodney Daal and walked Pascal Zegwaard.
Van Zijl then was responsible for the run himself as he a throwing error on a grounder by Amar van Zwieten, which enabled Daal to score from second base.
But for Quick, this would be its lone run in tonight's game.
UVV got only two baserunners in its first three at bats.
After being retired in order in the first inning by starter Jack Wagner, Karl Hoschke led off the second inning for UVV with a walk.
Wagner retired the next three batters, two of them with a strikeout.
In the third inning, Etienne van Tielraden led off with a walk, but was later eliminated in an inning-ending double play.
Trailing 1-0, UVV got a chance to come alongside in the bottom of the fourth.
Ryan Wheat led off with a double and moved to third base on a grounder by Daan Terstall.
Hereafter, powerhitter Karl Hoschke was hit by a pitch, but then a double play ended this scoring opportunity.
With two outs in the fifth, UVV got into scoring position again.
Etienne van Tielraden then singled and advanced on a wild pitch, but then Wagner closed with a strikeout.
In the top of the sixth, Quick got a chance to add another run.
With one out, Marvin Jakobus and Rodney Daal both singled.
But hereafter, a pop-fly accounted for the second out, then Jurjen van Zijl closed with a strikeout.
Moments later, in the bottom of the sixth, UVV struck and scored twice to turn the game its way.
With one out, Ryan Wheat walked and stole both second and third base.
Next batter Daan Terstall walked, then the bases got loaded when Karl Hoschke was hit by a pitch again.
Tijmen Takke followed with a single and so, Wheat scored the tying run.
UVV then took the lead, thanks to a sacrifice fly by Aaron Isenia.
With runners on first and second base, Jack Wagner closed with a strikeout, but UVV led 2-1.
Now trailing, Quick got another runner in scoring position in the top of the seventh.
With one out, Lars Visser singled and moved on a wild pitch, but was left behind.
He was to be the final baserunner for the Amersfoort-team.
UVV added an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh inning off of new pitcher Deef van Leersum.
With one out, Daan Jansen doubled, but he got into a rundown on a grounder by Malcolm Marlin and was eliminated.
With two outs, Marlin stole second base and scored on a following single by Ryan Wheat.
Now with a 3-1 lead, Kyle Ward took over the UVV-piching in the top of the eighth inning.
The veteran lefthander retired all six batters he faced, including two strikeouts, to earn his second save in this Pool.
Starter Jurjen van Zijl raised his record to 5-0.
