Quick Amersfoort rallied for four runs in the second inning and led 5-3 halfway the fifth inning.
Home-playing Sparks Haarlem then came alongside, held Quick scoreless in the remainder of the game and scored two deciding runs in the eighth to win its first game in this Pool.
Quick scored four runs on five basehits in the top of the second inning for what appeared to be a comfortable early lead.
However, in the remainder of the game, the team added only one more run, while Sparks Haarlem turned the game its way.
In the second inning, Amar van Zwieten led off with a double off of starter Mees de By, who then walked Pascal Zegwaard.
Both runners scored when next batter Lars Müller delivered a double.
The German player then scored himself when Lars Visser also doubled.
Hereafter, the latter was eliminated at third base trying to advance on a grounder towards second base by Alden Stacie.
A grounder by Jordy Burger brought Stacie to second base and he then scored the fourth run in the inning on a single by Emeron Lourens.
Sparks Haarlem, which was outhit 12-8, got one run back with two outs in its second at bat off of starter Stijn Bruins Slot.
After the Quick-defense had turned a double play, Jerry Zonneveld was hit by a pitch and stole second base.
He then scored from second base when a grounder by Calvin Semeleer ended in a throwing error.

The home-team narrowed the deficit to 4-3 by scoring two more runs in the bottom of the third.
Lead-off hitter Jesse van de Berg was hit by a pitch and stole second base.
Quick's second baseman Emeron Lourens then made a great catch on a line drive by Wessel Pirovano.
But moments later, Van de Berg scored when a throwing error followed on a comeback-grounder by Mitchel Dautzenberg.
He ended up on second base, stole third base and scored on a single by Duko Jansen, who would be left behind on second base.
Quick took some more distance by adding a run in the top of the fourth.
With one out, Emeron Lourens doubled and score on a single by Alex Madera.
For Quick, this would it final run in the game and the team was unable to hold onto the 5-3 lead.
In the bottom of the fifth, Sparks Haarlem came alongside.
Again, Jesse van de Berg and Mitchel Dautzenberg did the scoring.
This time, Van de Berg led off with a walk, moved into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Wessel Pirovano, then advanced to third base on a single by Mitchel Dautzenberg.
A double steal-situation followed and Van de Berg scored.
Dautzenberg advanced to third base when Duko Jansen delivered another single and he scored the tying run on a sacrifice fly by Joffrey Heus.
After having scored its fifth run in the fourth, Quick Amersfoort got six more baserunners, but only two of them got into scoring position.
With the score now tied at 5-5, Quick got a runner on second base in the top of the sixth.
With one out, Jordy Burger singled and with two outs, Alex Madera singled again.
But they were left behind.
In the seventh, off of new pitcher Menno Soederhuijsen, Amar van Zwieten led off with an infield-hit and stole second base, but then was eliminated shortly thereafter at third base.
Sparks Haarlem also faced a new pitcher from the sixth inning, as Jan-Willem Geerts took the mound for Quick.
The righthander retired the side in the sixth, then saw Sparks Haarlem leave a runner behind on third base in the seventh.
But Sparks Haarlem then struck in the bottom of the eighth.
Lead-off hitter Joffrey Heus reached on an error and came into scoring position thanks to a sacrifice bunt by Mitchell Hetem.
Hereafter, Sparks got the bases loaded via an infield-hit by Jerry Zonneveld and a walk for Ruben Hoek.
That led to a pitching change.
Jasper Popken took over, but he was greeted with runscoring singles by Siebe van Pelt and Jesse van de Berg.
That gave Sparks Haarlem a 7-5 lead.
With the bases still loaded, a flyout and groundout ended the inning.
Sparks Haarlem and reliever Menno Soederhuijsen hold onto the lead in the top of the ninth.
With one out, Alex Madera collected his fourth basehit of the afternoon for Quick, but he stranded on first base, as two flyouts ended the game.
