Storks initially faced a quick 2-0 deficit in the first inning.
The team was kept scoreless itself in the first four innings, but then staged an 11-run rally in the fifth inning to turn the game around.
However, the team was unable to reach a mercy-rule run-difference and still led 11-2 (one run shy) after seven complete innings.
Storks then did score five more runs in the ninth, while Twins scored four more runs of itself in the final two at bats.
Storks collected twelve basehits in today's game.
But the team got many more baserunners, as five of the six pitchers Twins used walked fifteen batters combined.
Remarkable enough, the first two Twins-pitchers gave up no runs in the first four innings.
Storks then rallied for eleven runs in the fifth inning off of three new pitchers.
It was Twins Oosterhout that opened the score with two runs in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Mike van den Berg.
With one out, the righthander gave up a triple to Gijs van Zalingen, who was unable to advance on a following single by Thijmen Peters.
After the latter had advanced on a passed ball, Van Zalingen scored the first run on a fielder's choice-grounder by Berend Ruben, which didn't end in an out.
With runners at the corners, Ruben stole second base and when that was followed by an error, Peters scored the second run.
With two outs, Matthew Joossens singled to bring Ruben to third base.
Joossens then also stole second base, but this time, the two runners were left behind.
Twins hold onto the 2-0 lead for four innings.

Twins-starter Sydney Hoeverts did well.
He retired the side in the first inning.
With two outs in the second, Hoeverts walked a batter, but was forced out.
The righthander then also got two quick outs in the third, but then walked Jurian Hansen and Luis Gonzalez Garay and a pitching change followed.
Lucas den Duijn took over and saw the bases get loaded when Kevin van Veen reached on an error.
But the inning ended when the latter was forced out.
Storks got into scoring position again in the top of the fourth off of Den Duijn.
With one out, Raibiently Mercalina and Kelvin Knape both singled.
With two outs, Storks got the bases loaded when Khirstan Gibbs reached on an error.
But the team was kept scoreless again, as Knape was forced out at third base on a grounder by Jurian Hansen.
In the meantime, Twins was unable to take more distance, as Mike van den Berg recovered well after giving two runs in the first at bat.
He retired the side in the second and third inning.
In the fourth, Van den Berg gave up a lead-off single to Jerzy van Gool, who moved on a sacrifice bunt by Matthew Joossens and a grounder by Ben van Dulken.
But he would be left behind on third base.
And then, the deciding fifth inning began with Twins leading 2-0.
Storks sent 16 batters to the plate, who produced only four basehits off of three pitchers.
However, the team scored eleven runs, as there also were seven walks, a hit batter and an error.
That all resulted in three unearned runs, but the final four runs in this at bat were 'team-unearned', due to the error.
Five runs were scored with two outs.
It all began with a single from Luis Gonzalez Garay and a double by Kevin van Veen off of Thijs Rijpstra, who had taken over and became the third Twins-pitcher in this game.
Storks got the bases loaded when Edvin Yrausquin walked.
The rally then went underway when Sigmar Eustacia delivered a 2-run single that tied the score.
The team from The Hague took the lead when an error was made on a hit by next batter Raibiently Mercalina, which also resulted in runners on second and third base.
Eustacia then went on to score the next run on a sacrifice fly by Kelvin Knape.
Next, Storks got the bases loaded again when Shurensley Daantji walked and Khirstan Gibbs was hit by a pitch.
With three runners on base, Esra van den Berg became the new pitcher for Twins, but he also was unable to keep the Storks-hitters from the bases.
The righthander first walked Jurian Hansen, which led to the next run.
A runscoring grounder from Luis Gonzalez Garay followed, then the bases got loaded again when Kevin van Veen walked.
When Van den Berg also walked next batter Edwin Yrausquin, Storks scored its next run and another pitching change followed.
Matthew Joossens became the third pitcher in this at bat for Twins, but he walked the first batter he faced, Sigmar Eustacia, which led to the next run.
A wild pitch enabled Van Veen to score moments later and a following single by Kelvin Knape accounted for two more runs and lifted the led to 11-2.
With still runners on first and third base, a grounder ended the long at bat and the game had completely turned around.
And so, it suddenly appeared that Storks was en route to a mercy-rule victory.
However, the needed twelfth run to reach a 10-run difference didn't in time to end the game in seven innings.
Matthew Joossens retired the Storks-side in the sixth inning, but got the bases loaded in the seventh inning.
The Belgian pitcher avoided giving up runs.
With two outs and Sigmar Eustacia (fielder's choice) on first base, Joossens walked Raibiently Mercalina and hit Kelvin Knape with a pitch.
But the needed twelfth run didn't come, as a grounder ended the at bat.

In the top of the eighth inning, Berend Ruben became the sixth Twins-pitcher.
He got a runner on second base, but then was supported with an inning-ending double play.
Storks-starter Mike van den Berg continued to keep Twins scoreless.
With his team now leading 11-2, the righthander retired the side in the bottom of the fifth.
In the sixth, he hit lead-off hitter Thijmen Peters with a pitch, but then struckout the next three batters.
Peters, who had advanced on two wild pitches, stranded on third base.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Kevin van Veen took over the Storks-pitching.
The veteran righthander got the bases loaded quickly, as he walked the first three batters he faced, Gijs van Zalingen, Thijmen Peters and Berend Ruben.
Jerzy van Gool then grounded into a double play, but that enabled Van Zalingen to score.
In the top of the ninth, Storks added five more runs with two outs.
With Edvin Yrausquin (walk) and Sigmar Eustacia (single) on base and one out, the first scored on a grounder by Kelvin Knape.
Hereafter, Shurensley Daantji delivered a runscoring single.
Daantji started the season as pitcher on the roster of L&D Amsterdam Pirates, but he joined Storks a few weeks ago.
On Saturday, Daantji was the second baseman for Storks, today, he was the catcher.
Storks got the bases loaded when Khirstan Gibbs and Jurian Hansen also singled.
All three runners scored when Luis Gonzalez Garay followed with a baseclearing, 3-run double.
That lifted the lead to 16-3.
But the scoring wasn't over yet, as Twins scored three runs of its own in the bottom of the ninth off of new pitcher Kelvin Knape, who had been the short stop.
Ben van Dulken led off with a single and with one out, Albin Lebron also singled.
Both scoring on a following triple by Marnix Ruben, who went on to score himself on a sacrifice fly by Gijs van Zalingen.
That made it a 16-6 score, but that also was to be it, as a flyout ended the game.
Luis Gonzalez and Kelvin Knape both batted in four runs for Storks.
