 Starting Pitchers coming postseason-series

Coming Thursday-evening (August 25), the next 3-game series begins in the Major League/First Division Pilot-Pool.
Coming weekend, the second best-of-five Play-Off will be decided.
Last weekend, Curaçao Neptunus became the first team to secure a spot in the all-deciding best-of-seven Holland Series, which opens on September 8.
Neptunus recorded a 3-game sweep against Twins Oosterhout in its Play-Off.
Neptunus opened the series with a 7-2 win, then recorded a small 4-2 in the second game.
On Sunday, Neptunus completed the sweep with a 10-3 victory to clinch the Holland Series.
It will mark the 28th time that the Rotterdam-team will play in the Championship Final.
In the other Play-Off, HCAW leads 2-1 against defending champion L&D Amsterdam Pirates.
In the opener, HCAW won 5-0 in eleven innings, then Pirates recorded a 4-0 shutout two days later.
Last Sunday, HCAW took the lead by turning an early 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 win in an 10-inning game.
As could be expected, both HCAW and Pirates have not yet announced their probable starting pitchers.

Last year, the Play-Off combinations were the same.
Neptunus then also swept Twins Oosterhout in three games.
Pirates won its series against HCAW, 3-2, then went on to win the Holland Series in seven games.
Hoofddorp Pioniers swept DSS/Kinheim in a best-of-five for fifth and sixth place.
Pioniers won 9-4, 12-8 and 14-3 to finish in fifth place.
With these results, the 2022 season ended last Sunday for Twins Oosterhout, Hoofddorp Pioniers and DSS/Kinheim.
That creates the odd situation that the teams that finished in the last three positions of the Major League Bottom-5 Pool have still twelve games left in the Pilot-Pool.
It also means that the second teams of Twins Oosterhout and Hoofddorp Pioniers will continue the season, while the main-squads are finished.
The second team of Twins plays in the Pilot Pool, the second team of Pioniers will play six more games in its postseason-pool in the First Division.
In the Major League/First Division Pilot-Pool, the three First Division-teams all recorded a victory in the opening-series.
First Divsion-champion UVV won 9-6 on Sunday against RCH Memorie Sieraden, which won the other two games (2-0, 9-5).
Twins Oosterhout-2 won 7-1 against Silicon Storks on Saturday.
Storks won the first and third game (11-3, 16-6).
And Sparks Haarlem outscored Quick Amersfoort 7-5 on Sunday.
The opening-game between the two teams ended with a 10-10 score, Quick then won Game 2 with a 12-3 score.

As always, these assignments can change on game-days.
