In tonight's series-opener, both teams collected eleven basehits.
Defensively, RCH-Pinguïns committed four errors, Twins Oosterhout three.
The difference in the game?
The 4-run rally by Twins in the bottom of the sixth inning off of RCH's pitching-ace Jeremy Young, which put the home-team ahead.
The first five innings of the game remained scoreless.
Thereafter, all ten runs were scored in the final four at bats.
RCH got into scoring position in three of its first five at bats off of starter Jeffrey Levenstone.
This season, the righthander also made twelve appearances in the main-squad of Twins in the highest division, including one start.
In the top of the first inning, Levenstone walked lead-off hitter Thomas Kwakernaak, then walked Jesse Aussems with one out, but followed with a strikeout.
Yurdion Martie then connected for a line drive, but first baseman Ben van Dulken caught the ball to end the at bat.
After having retired the side in the second inning, Levenstone again got runners on first and second base in the third at bat.
With one out, he again walked Thomas Kwakernaak.
Thereafter, Leandro Anasagasti reached on an error.
This time, the Twins-defense turned an inning-ending double play.
Levenstone gave up his first basehit in the fourth when Tilsaimy Melfor led off with a double.
With one out, Teun van der Meer walked, but Melfor was then forced out on a grounder by Geoffrey Verhoef.
In an attempt to complete a double play, an error was made, which led to runners on second and third base, but they were left behind.
In the top of the fifth, there were some more defensive highlights for Twins.
Second baseman Thijmen Peters caught a line drive, while another double play ended this at bat.

The Twins-offense faced Jeremy Young, who had thrown some very solid games for RCH this season.
The Australian righthander made sixteen appearances, including ten starts and threw four complete games, finishing the regular season with an 8-3 record.
Initially, Young also kept the opponent scoreless in the first five innings.
In these at bats, Twins got into scoring position only twice.
After having retired the side in the first inning, Young got runners at the corners in the second.
He gave up a lead-off single to Jerzy van Gool, who moved on a sacrifice bunt by Matthew Joossens, then reached third on a single by Ben van Dulken.
A strikeout and flyout followed.
In the bottom of the third, Esra van den Berg led off with a walk and stole second base.
Next batter Marnix Ruben also walked.
This time, three flyouts ended the at bat.
In the fourth, a runner stranded on first base.
In the fifth, Van den Berg led off with a single, but was caught stealing thereafter, followed by two grounders.
It was RCH that then opened the scoring in the top of the sixth inning off of new pitcher Thijs Rijpstra.
He walked lead-off hitter Jesse Aussems, who was moved to second base via a sac-bunt by Tilsaimy Melfor.
Moments later, Aussems advanced and scored on consecutive singles by Yurdion Martie and Teun van der Meer.
Twins answered with a productive sixth at bat off of Jeremy Young, collecting six basehits to score four runs, three of which were scored with two outs.
With one out, Jerzy van Gool singled and scored the tying run on a following triple by Matthew Joossens.
With two outs, Joossens scored the go-ahead run on a single by Sydney Hoeverts.
Hereafter, Dick van Heesch and Esra van den Berg followed with back-to-back RBI-double to put Twins ahead 4-1.
Marnix Ruben then accounted for the sixth basehit in this inning, but with runners at the corners, the at bat ended with a groundout.
But RCH-Pinguïns was unable to overcome this sudden 4-run rally off of its pitching-ace.
After having given up RCH's first run in the sixth inning, but now having a 4-1 lead, Thijs Rijpstra began the seventh with a strikeout.
He then gave up a single to Daan Groenewoud and walked Thomas Kwakernaak, which led to a pitching change.
Lucas den Duijn took over and ended the at bat with a strikeout and flyout.
Twins even took some more distance by adding a run in both the seventh and eighth inning off of new pitcher Calvin Andringa.
In the seventh, Thijmen Peters led off with a walk, then Jerzy van Gool and Matthew Joossens both singled.
When the basehit of the latter was followed by an error, Peters scored.
Twins got a chance to do some more scoring hereafter.
The other two runners advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Ben van Dulken, then the bases got loaded when Sydney Hoeverts walked.
But Andringa recovered and struckout the next two batters.
With one out in the bottom of the eighth, Twins got the bases loaded again.
Andringa hit both Gijs van Zalingen and Thijmen Peters, then an error was made on a sacrifice bunt by Jerzy van Gool.
Van Zalingen scored on a following grounder by Matthew Joossens to increase the lead to 6-1.
RCH got two more baserunners (and two line drives) in the top of the eighth off of Lucas den Duijn.
Tilsaimy Melfor led off with a line drive, which was caught by short stop Jerzy van Gool.
He then gave up a single to Yurdion Martie and a 2-out single to Geoffrey Verhoef.
Hereafter, it was Ties van der Beek who connected for a line drive, but again, it was Van Gool, who caught the ball.
Trailing 6-1, RCH came back into the game in the top of the ninth with a 2-out rally, but ended up short.
Daan Groenewoud led off with a single.
Lucas den Duijn then struckout Finn Kragt (a pitcher who was inserted as leftfielder in the seventh), but got a line drive from Leandro Anasagasti.
That was caught by centerfielder Marnix Ruben, which kept Groenewoud on first base.
But with two outs, the suspense rose.
RCH got runners on the corners following a single by Jesse Aussems, then Tilsaimy Melfor delivered an RBI-double, which narrowed the deficit to 6-2.
With runners on second and third base, Marnix Ruben (who was the centerfielder) took over the Twins-pitching in what was a save-situation.
Ruben was greeted with a 2-run single from Yurdion Martie and walked Teun van der Meer.
With runners at first and second base and Twins now leading 6-4, Ruben ended the inning and the game with a strikeout.
And with that, he earned his second save in this Pool.
