 Starting Pitchers coming series

On Thursday-evening (April 13), the second 3-game series of the 2023 season in the Dutch big league gets underway.
In last weekend's Opening Weekend, reigning champion HCAW swept Amsterdam Pirates in three games.
For the Pirates-team it is rare to lose all games in an Opening Series.
The last time that Pirates lost an Opening Series was in 2006 which then was a 2-game series.
In the Opening Weekend 17 years ago, Pirates lost twice against Neptunus.
All other Opening Series also resulted in sweeps.
The young team of Hoofddorp Pioniers won its three games against Quick Amersfoort.
Curaçao Neptunus allowed only one run and also won its three opening-games against DSS/Kinheim.
In the fourth series, RCH Memorie Sieraden outscored UVV in two games.
The third game was cancelled due to field-conditions after rain for the third time last Tuesday-evening and is now re-scheduled for coming Tuesday-evening (April 18).
When RCH also should win that game, it would mean that all Opening Series resulted in a sweep.
