 Starting Pitchers coming series

On Wednesday-evening (today, April 26), the first games of the fourth 3-game series of the 2023 season in the Dutch big league are scheduled.
Normally, a new series opens on Thursday, but not this week.
Thursday, April 27 is King's Day, which the day that King Willem-Alexander has his birthday.
On King's Day and the past Queen's Day, the King (and before that the Queen) always visits a city.
This year, the King visits Rotterdam.
In the past, regular season-games have always been scheduled on this special day when the day (April 27 or in the past April 30) was on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday.
It is believed that this year marks the first time, that no games are scheduled to give players and spectators a chance to do some celebrating.
Coming week, the next series also will begin on Wednesday (May 3).
This is because Thursday, May 4 is National Memorial Day.
On that day, games have never been scheduled.
These are busy days for the teams.
Last weekend had some rainy days, resulting in three cancellations.
Two games (Quick Amersfoort vs. HCAW and Hoofddorp Pioniers vs. Neptunus) were re-scheduled for Monday-evening, one for Tuesday (Twins Oosterhout vs. Amsterdam Pirates).
However, only one game was played on Monday.
The other (Quick vs. HCAW) rained out again and also moved to Tuesday.
In the upcoming series, DSS/Kinheim is the team that has no games scheduled.
As of now, righthander Juan Carlos Sulbaran is announced as starting pitcher for Game 2 of RCH-Pinguïns coming Saturday against HCAW.
In March and again last week, it was reported that Sulbaran has signed a contract with Lexington Counter Clocks of the professional independent Atlantic League.
That league opens the season on April 28.
However, at the moment, it is not known yet wether or not Sulbaran will still be with the Heemstede-team coming weekend.
Beneath are the announced starting pitchers for the upcoming 3-game series that opens on Wednesday-evening, April 26.
As always, these assignments can change on game-days.
