In his first season, Oosterhout Twins ended up in a tie for fourth place with RCH-Pinguïns in the first haf of the regular season.

In that part, Twins ended up in first place, four points ahead of DSS/Kinheim, to advance to the best-of-three Wild Card Bottom Series in which it faced RCH-Pinguïns.
Twins lost the first game, but then won the next two games to reach the Play-Offs.

With that, Twins met DSS/Kinheim in the best-of-three Wild Card Series.
DSS/Kinheim won the opener in thirteen innings in a game that ended with a much talked about call at first base.
Twins won Game 2 after having trailed 4-0 halway the fifth inning.
In Game 3, Twins trailed 8-1 after three innings, came alongside (9-9), but lost in 10 innings, resulting elimination for the Play-Offs.
In his two seasons as Head Coach, Rob Hendriks led Oosterhout Twins to 60 victories.
The team lost 34 games.
Two of the 96 games led by Hendriks ended in a tie.
,,Rob Hendriks has decided to step down as head coach of the Oosterhout Twins baseball team'', the press release opens.
,,In the past two seasons, the team achieved a fifth and sixth place in the regular competition.
Both times, the team managed to reach the wildcard play-offs by convincingly winning the follow-up competition.
With that, Oosterhout Twins proved to be one of the better teams in the national premier league.
The 61-year-old Hendriks has chosen to take it easier.
,,I have decided to stop training and coaching the team, even though I will miss them terribly.
The past seasons have been tough and it has taken its toll.
In addition, I want to focus more on my work.
But I will remain involved with the club to train youth players, because that remains my passion.''
Technical director Paul Bun says:
,,I look back with great pleasure on the time that Rob was head coach.
It is incredibly difficult to combine game preparations, training and three games a week with a full-time job.
Fortunately, Rob will remain active at the club to train players.
I am happy that we can continue to count on him.
I would like to thank him for his efforts and look forward to our further cooperation''.
Chairman Youri van der Poel adds:
,,Rob has made an important contribution to the development of our team and strengthened our club ambitions.
He has put a lot of energy into taking the team to a higher level and showing the spectators great games.
We wish him much success and are happy that he will remain involved with the club''.
The press release ends with the announcement that Oosterhout Twins has already started the search for a new head coach.
Paul Bun says:
,,We hope to find someone soon who can build on what Rob has achieved.
The team has the potential to compete for the championship in the Holland Series in the long term.
We are looking for a coach who can help the men with that''.
