 Starting Pitchers coming series

On Thursday-evening (August 1), the next 3-game series opens in both the Top-4 Pool and the Bottom-5 Pool in the Dutch big league, followed by games coming Saturday and Sunday.
Four teams in the Bottom-5 Pool already resumed the season last week.
This week, the four teams in de Top-4 Pool will resume their season, having games scheduled for the first time since Sunday, July 7.
Thereafter, the season was interrupted for the 31st edition of the Baseball Week Haarlem in Haarlem (Netherlands), which ended on Friday, July 19.
Two of these teams already came into action on Tuesday-evening, as DSS/Kinheim and Curaçao Neptunus faced each other in a make-up game.
Extra innings were needed, as Neptunus won 6-3 in eleven innings.
Next week, the teams again will meet in a make-up game.
Worldwide Pharma Logistics Hoofddorp Pioniers outscored Quick Amersfoort 16-3 in 6½ inning in a make-up game in the Bottom-5 Pool.
Coming Saturday, there will be a fifth game on the schedule.
Before their regular scheduled game in Rotterdam, Curaçao Neptunus and Amsterdam Pirates will complete an earlier game.
On June 13, Pirates won 7-3 against Neptunus, which filed a protest in the top of the ninth inning against an umpiring decision, stating an ordered pitching-change was incorrect.
The protest was alloted and with that, the game will have to be replayed with one out and two baserunners in the top of the ninth with Pirates leading, 6-2.
Lefthander Tijn Fredrikze will take the mound for Neptunus when the game resumes, while righthander Naut Kragt will be the pitcher for Pirates.
Beneath are the announced probable starting pitchers for the fifteenth 3-game series of the 2024 season that opens on Thursday-evening, August 1.
As always, these pitching assignments can change on game-days.
