 Starting Pitchers Holland Series

Coming Thursday-evening (September 4), the 40th Holland Series continues with Game 3 to be followed by Game 4 on Saturday and Game 5 on Sunday.
Last weekend, the best-of-seven Holland Series opened.
HCAW defeated reigning champion Curaçao Neptunus 3-1 in 10 innings in the opener on Saturday in Rotterdam.
The next day, in Bussum, Neptunus won 4-1.
Lars Huijer threw all 10 innings for HCAW in Game 1, Shairon Martis went the distance for Neptunus on Sunday.
In Sunday's game, HCAW saw two players exit with an injury, starting pitcher Nelmerson Angela and third baseman Jesse Aussems.
In the top of the fourth, Angela was hit on his left (throwing) hand by a comeback-liner off the bat of Dwayne Kemp and had to leave the game.
It has been confirmed that Angela sustained no fractures and is day-to-day.
When he recovers well, he could be available to start Game 5 coming Sunday.
A starter for that game has not yet been announced.
Aussems sustained a more serious, season-ending, injury.
In the top of the sixth, Aussems, short stop Delano Selassa and leftfielder Jair van Borkulo chased a foul ball behind third base off the bat by lead-off hitter Darryl Collins.
Aussems made a sliding attempt to catch the ball, but got injured and sustained a torn hamstring.
Game 3 and 5 will be played in Rotterdam, Game 4 in Bussum.
When needed, Game 6 will be played on Saturday, September 13 in Bussum and Game 7 the next day in Rotterdam.
Last season, the two teams also faced each other in the Championship Final, as they did in 2022.
Last year, Neptunus swept HCAW, 4-0.
Overall, this is the eleventh time that these teams play against each other in the Final.
