Coming Thursday-evening (May 22), the next 3-day series opens in the Dutch big league.
Curaçao Neptunus is still unbeaten, having won all 18 games since the start of the season.
In the previous series, Neptunus won only 1-0 and 4-1 in the first two games against HCAW.
In Game 3 on Sunday, Neptunus was two outs away from its first loss, trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth.
Neptunus then scored three runs, won 3-2 and remained unbeaten.
With 18 wins, Neptunus closes in on the all-time for most consecutive since the start of the season.
In 2022, HCAW began the season with 19 victories.
That winning streak was then ended by Amsterdam Pirates.
In the upcoming series, Neptunus will meet Pirates.
The record for most consecutive wins in a regular season is 23, set by Neptunus in 2010.
Amsterdam Pirates threatened the record in 2018 by winning 22 games in a row.
Last Sunday, veteran righthander Eddie Aucoin again threw eight strong innings in his second appearance of the season for Worldwide Pharma Logistics Hoofddorp Pioniers.
A week ago, the 49-year old Aucoin made his comeback on the mound and was the winning pitcher against Kinheim.
On Sunday, he was the winner in a 6-1 win against RCH-Pinguïns.
Beneath are the announced (probable) starting pitchers for the seventh 3-game series of the 2025 season that opens on Thursday-evening, May 22.
