 Ledenice first winner Easter Cup Tournament

The men softball-team Žraloci Ledenice has become the first winner of the international Easter Cup Tournament, which was organized in the weekend by Spikes in its home site in Spijkenisse.
On Sunday (March 27), Ledenice Sharks A won the all-deciding Final against BioSilk Quick Amersfoort.
On the first day of the event on Saturday, Ledenice Sharks A and Quick Amersfoort both dominated.
Both won their three games in the preliminary round.
The Czechs opened with a minimal 1-0 win against the Netherlands B-squad, but then struck against Gladsaxe and Le Thillay.
Ledenice shutout the Danish, 8-0, then won 16-1 against the French team.
Dutch vice-champion Quick Amersfoort recorded three shutouts.
The team opened with a 4-0 win against Ledenice B, then won with a huge 23-0 score against Adegeest.
Quick closed the preliminary round with a 7-0 win against host Spikes.
Despite some heavy rain overnight, all decisive games could be played on Sunday.
In the semi-final, Quick Amersfoort nipped the Netherlands Team 2-1 to reach the Final, while Ledenice A outscored its B-squad with a 10-7 to become the second finalist.

In the all-deciding Final, Ledenice Sharks struck in the first inning against Quick Amersfoort and went on to win 10-1 to become the first winner of the Easter Cup Tournament.

Best PItcher: Jaroslav Muller (Quick Amersfoort), 27 strikeouts in two games, 0.00 ERA.
