THE HAGUE (Neth.) - League-leader Kokolishi on Saturday opened its double-header against AIMS EHS with a 5-1 win, but then lost its first game of the season in Game Two, 6-4.

In the opener, José Guerrero threw a 3-hitter. He took a No-Hitter into the fifth inning, but then gave up a single to Maurice Meijer with two outs. That basehit also accounted for the lone EHS-run, as Jeffrey Visser, who had walked, scored. The other two basehits were registered in the seventh inning.
Kokolishi scored its first run in the second inning when Irvin Redan reached on an error and scored on a 2-out single by Jeanric Ursula.
In the third at bat, two runs were added. With one out, Anthony Hooi singled and moved on a wild pitch. Next, Julius Veeris walked. A basehit by Irvin Redan then set a lot of actions into motion. On the single, Hooi scored and Veeris moved to second base. He then advanced to third on the throw to home. Next, the ball was thrown back to second base where Redan was eliminated, but in the meantime Veeris was able to score on that throw.
After EHS scored its run in the fifth, Kokolishi scored twice in their fifth on a 2-out, 2-run single by Gerald Dunlop.

In Game Two, EHS scored six runs in the sixth inning to hand Kokolishi its first loss.
After five scoreless innings, EHS rallied in the sixth. Before that, the team from Haarlem already had numerous opportunities to score. In the first five innings, EHS stranded six runners, including a runner on third in the second inning and the bases loaded in the fourth.
In the sixth, Pim Winkel and Etiënne Meijer led off with singles. José Guerrero then came in to relief starter Aldwin Bonafacio, but gave up a single to Jeffrey Visser that loaded the bases. Guerrero then hit next batter Erik Zomerdijk to score a run. An error on a flyball by Maurice Meijer gave EHS two more runs, followed by an RBI-single by Erwin Visser. A wild pitch then resulted in the fourth run in the inning. After a foul-out, Anthony Beamont walked. Still with only one out, Michel Groenhart contributed with an RBI-single, but Beaumont overran third base and was thrown out. A grounder ended the at bat, but EHS had taken a 6-0 lead.
In the home sixth, Kokolishi came back with two runs on a 2-run single by Irvin Redan.
Two more runs were scored in the seventh inning on a 2-out single by Aldric Dunlop and an infield-hit by Enio Kwas, but Kokolishi left the bases loaded, therefore failing to avoid it first loss of the season.

RCH-Pinguïns again answered with a 4-run rally, this time in the fourth inning, highlighted by an RBI-infield-hit by René Beliën and a 2-run single by Jan-Willem van Markus. A basesloaded walk accounted for the fourth run. In the fifth, RCH narrowed TIW's lead to only 10-9 when Hiro Kakizoë scored on an error, but the team never was able to get the lead. In the sixth, TIW-Survivors added three runs on a 2-run single by Melvin Brown and an error to make it 13-9.
After RCH-Pinguïns scored another run in the sixth on an error, TIW-Survivors scored two more runs in the seventh on a 2-out, 2-run homerun by Rody Stam.

In Game Two, RCH-Pinguïns again scored four runs in the first inning, but this time it would end up as the winning team. But to do so, the team had to break an 8-8 tie in the sixth inning.
In the first, Patrick Divendal hit a 2-run double and Ashwin Dall a 2-run homerun to give RCH a 4-0 lead.
TIW-Survivors scored once in the second and third inning, but RCH got one run back in the home third.

Trailing 8-4, TIW-Survivors came alongside in the sixth inning on two back-to-back homeruns. With one out, Rody Stam and Angelo Clemensia singled, then Melvin Brown homered, followed by a solo-shot by Angelo Clementina.

DE BILT (Neth.) - Reigning champion Storks was shutout 5-0 in the opener by Centrals, then trailed 5-1 in Game Two, which had to be stopped. Because Storks was incomplete, the game was forfeited to Centrals.

In the opener, Roman Matuska struckout eleven batters and threw a 7-inning 2-hitter. Kenny Dame was the lone Storks-player that had a basehit off the Czech righthander, both doubles. The first came with two outs in the first inning, with the second he led off the fourth inning. Besides Dame, Ed Hoet was the only other player who reached second base for Storks.
Centrals took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Ciro Ricardo hit his fourth homerun of the season with two outs, but hereafter the team left the bases loaded.
Two runs were added in the fourth inning on a 2-out double by Kamiel Zuidam and a wild pitch.
In the sixth inning, Robbert Gerwig led off with a homerun to make it 5-0.

In Game Two, Storks took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Steven Ketting scored on a wild pitch, but then Centrals rallied for four runs in the home of the first inning. First, Kamiel Zuidam led off with a homerun, then Joost de Bruin singled. De Bruin was eliminated on a force play-grounder by Ciro Ricardo and Roman Matuska flied out, but then veteran René Richardson hit a 2-run homerun. Sander Wuis followed with another single, as did Robbert Gerwig. A single by Jaïr Anastatia then made it 4-1, before the inning ended when Michiel Rowaan, the ninth batter in the inning, flied out.
In the second inning, Ed Hoet took over for starter Peter Noordermeer and gave up an addional run when Ciro Ricardo was hit by a pitch and later scored on a wild pitch with two outs.
Trailing 5-1, Ronald Romijn and René Nieveld singled with one out for Storks in the fourth inning. Next, Bob Bik grounded out, moving the two runners. But then Roman Matuska struckout Marco van Elst to end the inning. Van Elst argued the call by Home Plate Umpire Bob Gieskens, threw his bat away and was ejected. As a result, Storks became incomplete. According to the rules, the game was stopped and therefore forfeited to Centrals, making the 5-1 score at that moment the final score.
