THE HAGUE (Neth.) - ADO, which is led this season by new Head Coach Aldric Dunlop, started its exhibition season today with a surprise 5-4 loss against its First Division-team ADO 2. ADO-2 started the game well, scoring three runs in the first inning off of starter Swendymar Kleinmoedig, who made his debut in an ADO-uniform. The righthander hit the lead-off batter with a pitch, then committed an fielding error on a following grounder and loaded the bases with a walk. A single by Raily Godfrey then made it 3-0, before an infield-fly and a strikeout ended the at bat.

ADO-2 starter Claro Sarmiento retired the first seven batters he saw, before giving up an one-out single to Rodrinov Faries in the third. Faries then stole second, advanced on a throwing error and was able to score when an error in centerfield followed.
