 Lindsey Meadows Perfect vs. Juniors

Lindsey Meadows struckout eight batters and threw a 4-inning Perfect Game on Sunday in the opener of FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem against the Dutch Juniors, which was won 11-0.
In Game 2, Olympia Haarlem won 13-4.
In the first game, Lindsey Meadows retired all 12 batters she faced.
Olympia Haarlem collected 10 basehits and had two 5-run rallies.
The home team opened the score with one run in the first inning when Czech player Tereza Pochobrádska walked and scored on an outfield-error that followed a single by Meadows.
Five runs were added in the second inning, thanks to a 3-run double by Merel Oosterveld and 2-run triple by Dinet Oosting.
In the third inning, five more runs were scored, including three on two errors.
A single by Dominique Sprengers and basesloaded walk for Danish player Kristina Brødsgaard Nielsen accounted for the other runs.
In the second game, the Dutch Juniors avoided another 4-inning, 10-run loss when its staged a nice comeback in the fourth inning.
Initially, it appeared that Olympia Haarlem was en route to a huge score, as it led 12-0 after two innings.
In the first, three runs were scored on a double by Meadows, single by Oosting and a wild pitch.
A 9-run rally followed in the second at bat.
Merel Oosterveld had four RBI's in this inning, one on a single and three on a basesloaded triple.
Olympia had seven basehits in this inning.
The Juniors scored their first run in the third inning on a sac-fly by Eva van Knegsel, but Olympia answered with a homerun by Dinet Oosting.
The Juniors then had a productive fourth at bat, scoring three runs.
The runs were scored on a double by Aafje van Baal and a 2-run error on a force play-grounder by Gabi Obia.
But the Juniors were then held scoreless in the fifth by Dominique Sprengers, who struckout eight batters.
