 Juniors split with Alcmaria Victrix

The Dutch Junior Team, which is in fourth place in the Dutch big league, added another victory on Sunday (May 4).
The team opened their double-header at Alcmaria Victrix with a 2-0 loss, but then won the next game 5-3 in eight innings.
In the first game, Alcmaria scored both runs in the fifth inning, including one on a triple by Anne Blaauwgeers.
In Game 2, the Juniors led 3-1 in the sixth inning, but Alcmaria then came alongside via a 2-run-inside-the-park-homerun by Brenda Beers.
The Juniors decided the game with two runs in the top of the eighth on RBI-doubles by Wies Ligtvoet and Manoa Weijgertse.
