Poland vs. Netherlands
In today's first game, the Dutch Team briefly faced a 2-0 deficit after two innings.
Two errors and only one hit contributed to two Polish runs in the second at bat.

However, the Orange squad took charge of the game when it rallied for four runs in the top of the third inning.
With one out, Gabi Obia, Wies Ligtvoet (bunt) and Annemiek Jansen all singled, then all scored when Manoa Weijgertse followed with a triple to take a 3-2 lead.
Moments later, Weijgertse scored herself on a grounder by Laura Wissink.
With a 5-3 lead, the Dutch squad added three runs in the fifth at bat on a runscoring double by Laura Wissink and a 2-run single by Lizzie Clarijs.
A 5-run rally in the sixth at bat then created a 10-run difference.
Daniëlle ten Donkelaar and Lisa Hop pitched for the Dutch Team and gave up only three basehits.
Russia vs. Netherlands
In the second game today, the Dutch Team opened the score with two runs in the first inning via a double by Manoa Weijgertse and a single by Isa Los.
Three runs were added in the third inning.
With two outs, Manoa Weijgertse walked, then Laura Wissink homered.
Later in the at bat, the score was lifted to 5-0 when a run was scored on a basesloaded walk for Eva van Knegsel.
A double by Laura Wissink brought in another run in the fourth, then a mercy-rule run-difference was reached in the top of the fifth when three more Orange-runs were scored.
Lizzie Clarijs and Eva van Knegsel then delivered RBI-singles, followed by a runscoring double by Wies Ligtvoet.
Cheyenne Scheffer threw three hitless innings for the Dutch Team, then her reliever Mandy van der Maas gave up only two hits in the remainder of the game.
