 This weekend Jan de Wit Tournament in Haarlem

In the upcoming weekend (April 9-10), the 28th edition of the annual international Jan de Wit Tournament is scheduled on the site of FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem.
Five of the six Golden League-teams are participating in the event, being reigning champion Oolders Omaco Sparks Haarlem, Terrasvogels DSS, Twins and host Olympia Haarlem.
They will be joined by Silver League-teams Euro Stars and Roef!.
Hamburg Knights from Germany completes the field of participants.
The eight teams are divided into two pools of four.
Playing in Pool A are Olympia Haarlem, Hamburg Knights, Roef! and DSS.
The other four teams form Pool B.
All teams will play five games, three on Saturday and two on Sunday.
All games will have a maximum of six innings.
On Saturday, the first game will start at 9 AM when Hamburg Knights and DSS meet at Field 2.
Fifteen minutes later, Olympia Haarlem meets Roef! on Field 1.
Olympia Haarlem and Sparks Haarlem are the only two teams that will play all their three scheduled games on Saturday on the main field.
Initially, Olympia Haarlem was to host the tournament also last year, which is always played in the last weekend before the start of the regular season.
However, the playing format of the regular season in the then-new Golden League was announced late and also the opening date changed from April 18 to April 11 to April 18.
In the end, it was not possible for Olympia Haarlem to invite (foreign) teams to participate in the tournament, resulting in the cancellation of the event.
Instead, Olympia Haarlem, Terrasvogels and DSS played a mini-event against each other.
The last Jan de Wit Tournament was held in 2014 and then was won by Sparks Haarlem.
The regular season in the Golden League and Silver League opens on Saturday, April 16.
