Britt Vonk made her debut in the Dutch big league at age 14 during the 2005 season, while playing for Tex Town Tigers. She continued playing for the Enschede-based team through 2011. Hereafter, in the next two seasons, she played for Alcmaria Victrix and since 2014, Britt is on the roster of Terrasvogels.

However, in the past six seasons, she played only brielfy in the highest Dutch softball-league. From Fall 2010 to Spring 2015, she studied at the University of California at Berkeley in the USA. In these years, she played for the Golden Bears, the softball-team of Berkeley. With the team, she reached the College World Series to become the first Dutch player to participate in this American Championship Series. In between her American seasons, Britt Vonk played in some games in her last year with Tex Town Tigers, then for Alcmaria Victrix and Terrasvogels.

After completing her final season in Berkeley, she played for La Loggia in Italy in 2015, then played in Australia in the 2015-2016 season. Last year, Britt Vonk made her professional debut, playing for Scrap Yard Dawgs in the American National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). In May of this year, she will return to the Dawgs for her second professional season in the NPF. After completion of that season at the end of August, she will return to Italy to play again for Bollate when the team reaches the Play-Offs. And of course, she also remains eligible to play for Terrasvogels in the Dutch Golden League during the regular season, as well as the postseason. At Bollate, she will be a teammate of Italian National Team-players Laura Buila, Greta Cecchetti and Alice Parisi.

Since 2008, Britt Vonk plays for the Netherlands National Softball Team, with whom she won three European Championship-titles. She also participated with the Orange squad in four World Championships. Last year, during the World Championship in Canada, the Netherlands finished in a historic fourth place, its highest ranking ever. In 2008, Britt participated with the Netherlands softball-squad in the Olympic Games in Beijing (China). Back then, with her 17 years, she was the youngest member of the entire Netherlands Olympic Delegation.
