In Pool A, Velocity United (USA) won 4-1 vs. Avengers United (USA).
Trailing 1-0, Velocity scored four runs in the second inning on only two hits.
In the top of the first, Shaena Mayer led off with a walk and later scored in a double-steal situation, but this was to be the lone run for Avengers.
In the bottom of the second inning, Velocity turned the game its way.
Macy Marie Cantrell led off with a walk and Katie Schneider followed with a double.
The first then scored the tying run on a fielder's choice-grounder by Kaydee Clark.
A double-steal situation led to the next run and a lead for Velocity.
Moments later, a fielder's choice-grounder by Tabatha Koetter and a single by Kasidy Carson lifted the lead to 4-1.

In the next game in Pool A, Roef! registered a convincing 7-2 win against Birds.
Roef!, which will make its debut in the Golden League this year, rallied for six runs in the opening at bat.
With the bases loaded, the first run was scored on a grounder by Kim Donkers.
Hereafter, three runs were added on basesloaded walks for Charlotte Haen, Ilse van Kerkoerle and Wies Ligtvoet.
Two more runs were scored on a double by Eva Voortman, who is a guest-player in the team of Roef! and also was the starting pitcher.
In two innings, the lefthander struckout three batters and gave up no hits.
Sophie Mollee completed the game.
Birds scored their two runs in the third inning on a single by Céline Janssens and a fielder's choice-grounder by Anne Ketelaar.

In Pool B, Detroyers United (USA) won 3-2 vs. Chaos United (USA).
Trailing 2-0, Destroyers scored once in the second inning, then added two runs in the third at bat.
Chaos opened the score in the first on singles by Cameron Marie McNany and Kacey Wees.
A double by Carlie Roark cut the deficit for Destroyers in half in the second inning.
In the third, a fielder's choice-grounder by Cally Jo Cunningham and a single by YaYa Hutnik made it 3-2.

In the next game in Pool B, Twins nipped Terrasvogels, 1-0.
Twins scored the lone run in the third inning.
Nina Oomes led off with a single, then advanced to third base on a grounder by Rose Mwaro and scored on a wild pitch.
Herafter, Bobbi Scheurkogel singled and Michelle van Bodegom walked, but they were left behind.
Terrasvogels, which misses several players at the moment, got a chance to open the score themselves in the top of the third.
With one out, Sanne Korpel doubled and Lizzie Clarijs walked.
The two moved on a wild pitch, but then stranded.

In Pool C, Euro Stars won 7-1 against Impact United (USA).
Charlotte Drijvers and Eliza van 't Zelfde both had two basehits for Euro Stars.
Trailing 1-0, Euro Stars rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the first inning.
Britt Amersfoort led off with a walk, advanced on an error and scored the tying run on a single by Charlotte Drijvers.
Later in the at bat, Eliza van 't Zelfde added an RBI-single, then another run was scored on a fielder's choice-grounder by Kim van der Valk.
Herafter, Michelle Lucardie connected for a 2-run double and later scored herself on an error to make it a 7-1 score.
Impact scored another run in the top of the fourth on a 2-out double by Audrey Petosky, but that was erased in the final score, as it was scored in a non-complete inning.

In Pool D, the Talent Team Holland Under-22 shutout Arsenal United (USA), 6-0.
TTH-pitchers Daniëlle ten Donkelaar, Cheyenne Scheffer and Leonella Elizabeth threw a combined Perfect Game.
Onaisha Franka and Laura Wissink both had two basehits.
TTH scored twice in the first inning.
Lead-off hitter Brenda Beers was hit by a pitch and advanced on a wild pitch.
She then stole third base and scored when an error followed.
Next batter Onaisha Franka singled and stole both second and third base.
With one out, she scored on a single by Laura Wissink.
Hereafter, the team got runners on second and third base with one out, but they were left behind.
In the third inning, the Talent Team rallied for four runs with two outs.
Laura Wissink led off with a walk, then the bases got loaded when Annemiek Jansen singled and Rachel van Veen reached on an error.
With one out, Wissink scored on a grounder by Ismay Poot.
Now with two outs, the bases got loaded again when Brenda Beers walked.
A hit batter for Onaisha Franka and a basesloaded walk for Maxime van Dalen then accounted for the next two runs.
Hereafter, in her second at bat in the inning, Laura Wissink delivered another RBI-single which made it 6-0.
