Amsterdam collected 10 basehits off veteran Elton Koeiman and opened the score in the second inning after leaving runners on second and third base in the first at bat. With two outs in the second, Bas Nooij doubled and was able to score when an outfield-error followed.

In the third inning, Amsterdam added its second run when Sidney de Jong homered with two outs. The lead was doubled in the fifth. With one out, Wesley Connor walked and then the bases got loaded when Jesse Aussems and Sidney de Jong singled. A single by Percy Isenia then produced two runs and made it a 4-0 score.

Amsterdam then broke open the game with an 8-run rally in the sixth at bat in which 14 batters stepped up to the plate. Bas de Jong led off with a double, then Bas Nooij was hit by a pitch and Björn Hato singled to load the bases. After an infield-fly, De Jong and Nooij scored on a single by Jesse Aussems. Hereafter, Elton Koeiman was relieved by Carlos Tavarez Castro, the team's leftfielder, who has pitching experience, but hadn't pitch in a while. And that was visible, as Tavarez started with a wild pitch, that led to a run, walked Sidney de Jong and then uncorked another wild pitch. A single by Percy Isenia (who was 3-for-4) then led to the next run. Tavarez then walked Kenny Berkenbosch to load the bases, followed with a walk for Vince Rooi and a wild pitch, so two more runs were scored. Everyone was then safe when no play was made on a grounder by Bas de Jong that gave Amsterdam another run and the bases got re-loaded when Bas Nooij walked. A flyout then accounted for the second out, but another walk then followed (the fifth by Tavarez) for Wesley Connor that made it 12-0. Finally, a flyout ended the at bat in which three runners were left.

Sparta-Feyenoord got on base only four times off starter Ben Grover. In the second inning, Gregory Gustina led off with a single, but was forced out later. Gustina, a pitcher, was today's designated hitter and hit the lone basehit of the Rotterdam-squad! In the third, Suri Betrian led off with a walk, but then Amsterdam turned a double play. After having retired nine batters in a row, Grover struckout Klaas Baldee in the sixth, but he reached first base as the third strike was a wild pitch. Baldee then stole second base to become the only player to reach second base, but stranded there. In the seventh inning, Rik Geestman took over for Grover and retired the side to end the game.

DOOR Neptunus vs. Vaessen Pioniers
At Rotterdam, DOOR Neptunus again won with a one-run difference vs. Vaessen Pioniers. After Saturday's 1-0 win, today the final score was 3-2 after Pioniers had come back from a 2-0 deficit.

Pioniers turned a double play in the second inning, but then gave up a run in the third at bat. Benjamin Dille led off with a double, moved on a sac-bunt by Urving Kemp and scored on a 2-out double by his brother Dwayne Kemp. The lead was doubled in the next at bat. Raily Legito led off with a double off starter Kevin Miner, but the next two batters grounded out. Then, Rien Vernooij doubled to make it 2-0. Benjamin Dille then followed with a single, but the inning ended when Vernooij was caught in a rundown after having passed third base.

Neptunus-starter Kevin Heijstek retired 13 of the first 16 batters he faced and gave up only one basehit, a double by Gyenuar Lopez with two outs in the first inning. But with two outs in the fifth at bat, Pioniers came alongside. Zerzinho Croes then reached on an error, stole second base and scored on a double by Jefferson Muzo. Michael Duursma followed with a single that made it a 2-2 score.

After Duursma's single, Heijstek retired seven batters in a row, then was relieved by Jorian van Acker in the eighth inning. He was greeted with a lead-off single by Michael Pluijmers, moved advanced on a sac-bunt by Michael Duursma and moved to third base on a wild pitch, but was left there.

In the home of the eighth inning, Neptunus re-took the lead off new pitcher Shane Gnade, but failed to add more runs, as two runners were picked off. Shaldimar Daantji led off with a single and moved on a sac-bunt by Dwayne Kemp. Gnade was then relieved by Jan Řeháček, but the lefthander started by hitting Rafaël Jozefa and then gave up an RBI-single to Raily Legito that made it 3-2. Next, the Czech pitcher picked off Jozefa, but enabled Legito to reach second base with a wild pitch. Jeffrey Arends then walked, but the inning ended when Legito was picked off second base by catcher Mark Duursma.

Dushan Ruzic closed the game for Neptunus by retiring the side in the ninth inning to earn a save.

AamigoO ADO Lakers vs. Corendon Kinheim
At The Hague, corendon Kinheim trailed 2-1 in the sixth inning, then took over the lead and went on to win 6-4 vs. AamigoO ADO Lakers, which now has lost its last eleven games in a row.

ADO was off to a good start, scoring two runs in the first inning off Luke Sommer. The lefthander gave up a lead-off single to Gregory Hassell, who then moved to third base when Sommer made a throwing error on a sac-bunt by Ludwin Obispo. When the latter took off to steal second base, Hassell did the same towards home and both runners were safe, so ADO took an 1-0 lead. After Sommer struckout the next batter and Obispo advancing to third on a throwing error, a single by Phil Ortez made it 2-0.

Kinheim got one run back in its first at bat off Thomas Macy. With one out, the righthander walked Mervin Gario, who then moved on a grounder by Dirk van 't Klooster and scored on a following single by Ramiro Balentina.

But in the next four innings, Kinheim was unable to add more runs, while reaching the bases frequently. In the third, the Haarlem-squad left the bases loaded and in the fifth, runners were left on first and second base, while Macy struckout three batters.

But ADO Lakers also was unable to expand its lead, as Sommer allowed only two batters to reach base from the second through sixth inning. After giving up the single to Ortez in the first inning, Sommer retired 16 of the 18 batters he faced.

In the top of the sixth inning, Kinheim took over the lead. With one out, Remco Draijer walked and stole second base, then Niels van Weert also walked. The bases got loaded when Onno Jansen followed with a single. After an infield-fly, Kinheim took a 3-2 lead when Mervin Gario (who was 3-for-4) singled in two runs.

In the ninth inning, Kinheim took some much needed distance by adding three runs off Martijn Riphagen, who had relieved Macy in the seventh. Mervin Gario and Ramiro Balentina singled, then Quintin de Cuba followed with an RBI-double. Rick van der Post was then brought in as new pitcher. After a groundout, Remco Draijer walked intentionally to load the bases, but then Niels van Weert followed with a single to bring in two more runs that were credited to Riphagen.

The additional runs were needed as ADO Lakers scored two of its own in the home of the ninth off Arshwin Asjes. He took over for Pim Walsma, who had retired the side in the eighth. Ludwin Obispo reached on an error, then the bases got loaded when Evan Porter and Phil Ortez singled. Two strikeouts followed, but then Enrique Tromp singled to bring in two runs and make it a 6-4 score. A flyout then ended the game.
