Cordemans is currently 7-0 this season and his next victory not only raises his record to 8-0, it also will be the 150th victory in his career.
With this, he will tie Bart Volkerijk, who is the career win-leader since the Dutch Major League became the highest division in 1958.
Before that, the First Division was the highest league since 1922.
When Cordemans starts on Thursday-evening, he needs nine strikeouts to reach the 1600-mark in his career.
With this, he will become the third pitcher in history to reach this total.
Bart Volkerijk leads the career strikeout-list with 1942.
Peter Callenbach is in second place with 1636, which Cordemans will reach later this season.
On May 3, Cordemans moved into third place of the all-time list, passing Craig McGinnis, who had 1571.
