Neptunus-starter Diegomar Markwell struckout four batters and gave up four hits in five innings to become the winning pitcher.
With this victory, he is closing in on a personal milestone, as he is approaching his 100th career big league-victory.
With today's win, Markwell became the third 3-game winner of the season.
Seven minutes earlier, the game between L&D Amsterdam Pirates and Corendon Kinheim ended, which earned Amsterdam-pitcher Kevin Heijstek his third win of the season.
Last Thursday-evening, Ricardo Hernandez Sanchez of Vaessen Pioniers became the first 3-game winner.
Neptunus scored three runs in the first inning off of starter Bobby Carrington.
Gyenuar Lopez led off with a double, then Benjamin Dille singled.
A sacrifice fly by Raily Legito gave Neptunus an early lead.
Gianison Boekhoudt then walked and Dwayne Kemp followed with a runscoring single.
Rien Vernooij was then hit by a pitch and was forced out on a grounder by Shurman Marlin, but that also brought in the third run.
Neptunus scored its next run in the third inning when Vernooij singled with one out, stole second base and scored on a sac-fly by Shaldimar Daantji.
In the fourth inning, now facing new pitcher Jeldwin Orman, Neptunus added another run when Raily Legito homered with one out off the foul pole in leftfield.
In the fifth, the home team scored two more runs to make it 7-0.
With one out, Urving Kemp reached on an error, then scored on a triple by Shaldimar Daantji.
The latter then scored the next run on a single by Gyenuar Lopez.
The Hawks got a runner in scoring position in the third inning.
With one out, Michel Offerman doubled and moved when Julian Goins singled with two outs, but the runners then were left behind.
In the fourth, another runner reached third base.
Steven Wharwood then led off with a single, stole second base and advanced on a single by Berend Ruben.
But the latter was then picked off and Wharwood stranded at third base.
In the sixth inning, The Hawks got the bases loaded.
With one out, Amir Daou and Steven Wharwood singled, then Berend Ruben walked with two outs, but a flyout ended the inning.
Neptunus reached the 10-run difference in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Urving Kemp led off with a single, then an error followed on a force play-grounder by Adrian Anthony.
Singles by Christian Diaz and Benjamin Dille then lifted the lead to 9-0.
With Diaz on third base, Dille moved to second base when Raily Legito grounded out.
And then, trailing 9-0, there was a surprise coaching decision, as Gianison Boekhoudt was walked intentionally to load the bases and set up a force play.
The lone possible reason to do this was to avoid a 10-run difference mercy-rule loss in seven innings, as the outfielders also were moved in.
But that didn't work, as Dwayne Kemp hit the ball over the leftfielder for a walk-off single to make it 10-0.
