However, Duursma was then force out in a double play and Urbanus was caught stealing to end the inning.
Amsterdam opened the score with two runs in the second inning off of starter Kevin van Veen.
The bases got loaded when Remco Draijer and Jesse Aussems singled, then Koen Nooij was hit by a pitch.
A sacrifice fly by Patrick Bok and single by Rashid Gerard then gave the home team a 2-0 lead.

The lefthander hit lead-off hitter Odion Gouverneur and walked Stephen Henson.
After a successful double steal, Gouverneur scored on a sacrifice fly by Berend Ruben.

Croes then stole third base and scored on a following throwing error.
With one out, Nick Urbanus singled and moved when Kenny Berkenbosch also singled.
The latter then was forced out on a grounder by Remco Draijer, which moved Urbanus to third base.
Next batter Jesse Aussems then walked, which would have loaded the bases, but Urbanus took off from third base and stole home.
Amsterdam-starter Dennis Burgersdijk retired the first six batters he faced.
In the third at bat, Jules Peters and Enoch Deaton led off with singles for The Hawks, then advanced on a sac-bunt by Chris Williams.
But they were left behind in scoring position.
Burgersdijk then retired six of the next seven batters and was relieved after having pitched five innings.
In the sixth, Robin Schel took over, gave up the run, then walked a batter with two outs in the seventh.
But a grounder ended the inning.
Hereafter, then gave was halted for a second time due to lightning and rain.
After a brief waiting period, the game was halted definitively.
