With one out in the second inning, Dashenko Ricardo singled, then moved on a grounder and scored on a double by Dudley Leonora.
Hereafter, Victor Draijer singled and Jochem Koedijk walked to loaded the bases, but a force out followed, leaving three runners behind.
Kinheim doubled its lead in the third inning.
Mervin Gario led off with a double, then moved to third on a grounder by Bryan Engelhardt, then scored on a 2-out triple by Ricardo to make it 2-0.
Kinheim-starter Tom Stuifbergen retired nine batters in a row in the first three innings, but despite that, he didn't return to the mound in the fourth inning.
With two outs in the first inning, Stuifbergen faced Gilmer Lampe, who then hit a comeback-grounder.
While throwing the ball to first base, Stuifbergen slightly hurt his shoulder.
He returned to pitch in the second and third inning, but remained bothered by it and was then replaced out of precaution.
Scott Ronnenbergh took over in the fourth inning.
The lefthander walked Gilmer Lampe and Dennis De Quint with two outs, but then Lampe was caught stealing at third.
In the fifth inning, Kinheim took more distance by adding two runs.
With one out, Bryan Engelhardt singled and Phil Ortez walked, then both scored when Dashenko Ricardo doubled.
Hereafter, Jerremyh Angela took over for Steenwijk and retired the next two batters, but Kinheim now led 4-0.
In the bottom of the fifth, Ronnenbergh had two outs when he struckout Jordan Illis, but the third strike ended in a wild pitch.
And so, Illis reached first base.
A walk and error followed, which led to the first run for UVV.
Kinheim left two runners in the top of the sixth, then UVV scored its second run moments later.
Ronnenbergh walked Jamie Verheyleweghen and Gilmer Lampe.
With one out, he gave up a runscoring single to Tony Enos and was relieved by Pim Walsma, who struckout the next two batters to end the inning.
Kinheim scored an insurance run in the seventh inning.
With one out, Dashenko Ricardo doubled and scored on a following single by Jeffrey Arends.
With that, Ricardo accounted for all Kinheim-runs.
He scored two and batted in three.
Walsma retired the side in the bottom of the seventh, then closer Arshwin Asjes took over in the eighth.
But the righthander gave up two runs.
With one out, Gilmer Lampe doubled and scored on a single by Dennis De Quint.
With two outs, Brennan Nijhof delivered a runscoring single that narrowed the deficit to only 5-4, but a grounder ended the inning.
In the bottom of the ninth, UVV got two baserunners with two outs.
They stranded, as a foul-out ended the inning and the game.
