Pioniers set the tone for a productive afternoon by scoring three (unearned) runs with two outs in the opening at bat off of starter Sander Helmendach.
Daniel Fernandes led off with a single, then was caught stealing at second base, but as a error was made, he was safe.
He then advanced to third base with one out on a grounder by Dirk van 't Klooster.
Now with two outs, Vince Rooi walked and then a passed ball moved the runners, resulting in the first run.
Mark-Jan Moorman followed with a double to bring in Rooi, then scored himself when an error followed a single by Kevin Dirksen.

HCAW was retired in order in the first and second inning, but then rallied for four runs in the third inningg off of starter Lars Huijer, who made his second start after returning from the States, where he ended his professional career.
Aldrich Guzman led off with a walk and stole second base, then Max Clarijs reached on an infield-hit, which kept Guzman at second base.
The bases were then loaded when Peter van Doesburg was hit by a pitch.
A single by Emersson Paula then brought in HCAW's first run and a passed ball accounted for the next one.
Roy Seltenrijch then followed with a 2-run triple to put HCAW ahead, 4-3.
Reggie Bomberg took over the pitching for Pioniers in the fourth and retired the side.
He then went on to become the winning pitcher, as Pioniers rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fourth to re-take the lead.
Kevin Dirksen led off with a single, then scored the tying run when an outfield-error followed a single by Kevin Weijgertse, who ended up on second base.
With one out, Weijgertse scored on two consecutive wild pitches to give Pioniers a 5-4 lead.
With two outs, Daniel Fernandes walked and scored on a following triple by Danny Rombley.
Dirk van 't Klooster added an RBI-single and scored himself when Vince Rooi singled to make it 8-4.
That marked the end for Helmendach, who was relieved by Bob Klaarenbeek.
He was greeted with a single by Mark-Jan Moorman, but he was forced out to end the inning.
After a scoreless fifth inning, HCAW narrowed the deficit to 8-6 by scoring twice in the sixth off of new pitcher Dennis Buring.
With one out and Rowan van Hoek (fielder's choice) on first base, Aldrich Guzman delivered an RBI-triple, then scored himself when Rikkert Kempen singled.
Pioniers then had a second rally when its scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take more distance.
Klaarenbeek walked lead-off hitter Daniel Fernandes, then was relieved by Marco Schel.
He saw the bases loaded when Danny Rombley walked and Dirk van 't Klooster reached on a bunt-single.
Vince Rooi then singled in two runs.
After an infield-fly, another run was added on a single by Kevin Derksen, then the bases were re-loaded when Kevin Weijgertse walked.
This led to another pitching change, as Gijs van Els was brought in.
He gave up an RBI-single to Quintin De Cuba, but Pioniers the left the bases loaded, but Pioniers had expanded its lead to 12-6.
HCAW had two (unearned) runs left in the seventh inning off of Sedley Karel.
Emersson Paula (single) and Jarreau Martina (error) then both scored on a 2-out single by Raoell Kortstam.
