DSS opened the score with three runs in the first at bat off of Kinheim-starter Nick Veltkamp.
The lefthander gave up only two hits, but walked four batters.
Veltkamp walked lead-off hitter Mark Smit, then Mitchell Koot and Tino van Erk both reached on a bunt-single.
The three runners then scored when next batters Ryan Miner, Seb Visser and Levine Gabriëls all walked.
With the bases still loaded and no outs, Veltkamp then struckout the next batter and a double play ended the at bat.
After Kinheim left two runners in the bottom of the first inning, DSS added a run in the second at bat.
Joffrey Heus led off with a single, advanced on a sac-bunt by Mark Smit and scored on a double by Mitchell Koot to make it 4-0.

David Bergman took over for Veltkamp and was supported with an inning-ending double play.
In the bottom of the second, Kinheim got one run back.
With one out, the Haarlem-squad got the bases loaded when Victor Draijer reached on an error, Phil Ortez walked and Jochem Koedijk was hit by a pitch.

Jochem Koedijk led off with a double and advanced on an error.
This led to a pitching change, as Kevin Bosch took over for Mike Groen, but he was greeted with a runscoring single by Kevin Moesquit.
A stolen base and wild pitch (with one out) moved Moesquit to third base and he scored when Bryan Engelhardt homered to narrow the deficit to 5-4.
Kinheim came alongside in the fifth when Victor Draijer and Phil Ortez led off with singles.
An error on a sacrifice bunt by Jochem Koedijk enabled Draijer to score and brought Ortez to third base.
But then Koedijk was picked off on first base and Moesquit flied into a double play.
In the sixth inning, Kinheim rallied for five runs off of new pitchers Jorn van Ingen and Mark van Deursen to take the lead.
Mervin Gario led off with a double, then the bases got loaded when Bryan Engelhardt walked and everyone was safe on a sacrifice bunt-fielder's choice by Dudley Leonora.
The bases were cleared when Jeffrey Arends followed with a 3-run double.
Hereafter, Mark van Deursen took over the pitching and gave up an RBI-single to Dashenko Ricardo.
