Tom Stuifbergen started for Kinheim and he held Neptunus scoreless in six innings.
Initially, Neptunus got a chance to opening the score in the first inning when Benjamin Dille and Raily Legito both singled with one out.
But hereafter, Gianison Boekhoudt grounded into a double play to end the inning.
Stuifbergen then retired the side in the next two at bats.
Neptunus-starter Kenny Van Den Branden gave up a lead-off single to Kevin Moesquit in the bottom of the first inning, then also was supported with a double play on a following grounder by Mervin Gario.
The Belgian hurler then also retired the side in the second inning, but in the next at bat, he saw Kinheim open the score.
In the third, Phil Ortez led off with a walk, then Dudley Leonora reached on a bunt-single.
With one out, the bases got loaded when Kevin Moesquit walked.
Moments later, the first run was scored on a sacrifice fly by Mervin Gario and Bryan Engelhardt followed with a runscoring single to make it 2-0.
Now leading 2-0, Stuifbergen held Neptunus also scoreless in the fourth through fifth inning.
In the fourth, tempers flared a bit.
First, in the top of the at bat, when Stuifbergen hit Gianison Boekhoudt with a pitch.
Then, in the bottom half, a reaction came when a high pitch from Van Den Branden ended in the backstop.
In the fifth, Stuifbergen gave up a lead-off single to Rien Vernooij, but then Kinheim turned another double play.
In the sixth, the righthander gave up an one-out single to Dwayne Kemp, who then was picked off on first base.

In the meantime, Kinheim increased its lead to 5-0 by adding three runs with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Dudley Leonora led off with a single and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Jochem Koedijk and a grounder by Kevin Moesquit.
Next, Mervin Gario singled and Bryan Engelhardt homered to make it a 5-0 score.
In the top of the seventh inning, Neptunus rallied for four runs to narrow Kinheim's lead to 5-4.
With one out, Gianison Boekhoudt homered.
Hereafter, Christian Diaz and Rien Vernooij both singled.
Stuifbergen then struckout Adrian Anthony, but then gave up a runscoring single to Shaldimar Daantji.
That led to a pitching change, as Pim Walsma took over.
He walked Urving Kemp that loaded the bases, then gave up a 2-run single to Dwaye Kemp that made it a 5-4 score.
Walsma ended the inning by striking out Benjamin Dille.
Kinheim aswered with three more runs in the next two innings.
In the bottom of the seventh, off of Jorian van Acker, Moesquit led off with a single, but then Neptunus turned another double play.
With two outs, Bryan Engelhardt again homered to make it 6-4.
With that, Engelhardt became the first player since September 25, 1999 to hit two homeruns in one game during a Holland Series.
Sixteen years ago, it was Lars Koehorst of HCAW, who homered twice in Game One of the Series vs. Neptunus.
By going 3-for-4 with two homeruns, two runs scored and four runs batted in, Engelhardt took revenge for his outing in yesterday's game when he struckout three times.
Walsma gave up a lead-off single to Raily Legito in the top of the eighth inning, but then retired the next three batters.
Kinheim added two more insurance runs in the eighth.
Dashenko Ricardo and Jeffrey Arends led off with singles, then advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Phil Ortez.
A force play was created by walking Dudley Leonora intentionally, but then Jochem Koedijk followed with a 2-run single to lift the lead to 8-4.
Berry van Driel was then brought in as reliever for Van Acker and saw the inning end on Neptunus' third double play this afternoon.
In the top of the ninth, Walsma retired the side to secure the win and earn a save.
And with that, Kinheim forced a fifth game.
