Starting pitcher Kevin Heijstek retired the side in both innings and was supported with five runs, thanks to two homeruns.
In the bottom of the first inning, Roelie Henrique led off by hitting a homerun on the first pitch thrown by Bob Klaarenbeek.
The lefthander initially wasn't announced as starting pitcher, as righthander Giovanni Tensen was originally named.
However, earlier in the week Tensen hurt his ankle during a practice session and wasn't ready yet to pitch today.

Hereafter, Linoy Croes (who last season played for HCAW) connected well on a 2-2 pitch and hit a grand slam homerun down the rightfield-line to give Pirates a quick 5-0 lead.
Croes hit his last big league-homerun on April 18, 2013 when he played for HCAW at Vaessen Pioniers, which then was his former team.
He then homered off a pitcher with almost the same name.
Today, he homered off Bob Klaarenbeek, in 2013 he homered off Joran Klarenbeek.
