Neptunus came close to opening the score in the first inning.
Gyenuar Lopez led off with a walk, then moved on a grounder by Benjamin Dille and reached third base on a single by Raily Legito, who then stole second base.
Next, Gianison Boekhoudt grounded towards third base where Lopez got into a rundown, but appeared to escape and score.
But UVV stated that Lopez had run out of line and so, the umpiring crew got together, resulting in Lopez being called out for running of his line too much trying to avoiding being tagged out.
That of course resulted in an argument from the side of Neptunus, but the call was made.
When the game resumed, a flyout ended the inning and so, no runs were scored.

Neptunus then did score in the second inning off of Venezuelan starter Claudio Bavera.
The bases got loaded thanks to singles by Rien Vernooij, Urving Kemp and (with one out) Shaldimar Daantji, but only one run was scored.
That happened via a sacrifice fly by Gyenuar Lopez.
UVV came alongside in the third inning off of Diegomar Markwell, who gave up an one-out double to Jordan Illis.
With two outs, he scored the tying run on a single by Tony Enos.
But in the bottom of the third, Neptunus re-took the lead by scoring three runs.
Raily Legito led off with a walk and Gianison Boekhoudt singled.
With one out, Rien Vernooij delivered a runscoring single that made it 2-1.
A force out-grounder by Urving Kemp led to the next run.
A following walk for Christian Diaz led to the departure of Claudio Bavera.
Timo van Ancum took over, but was greeted with an RBI-single by Shaldimar Daantji to make it a 4-1 score.
In the fifth, UVV narrowed the deficit to 4-2.
With one out, Gilmer Lampe was able to reach third base on a throwing error, then scored on a 2-out single by Dennis De Quint.
But from the bottom of the fifth on, the game belonged to Neptunus, which then took more distance, scoring seven runs.
From the fourth inning on, Neptunus registered ten basehits, including eight extra-basehits (3 doubles, 3 triples, 2 homeruns).
And so, the outfielders had a lot of field to cover.
In the fourth, two outfielders ran into each other, which turned a single into a double for Raily Legito, but he stranded on second base.
In the fifth, with two outs, rightfielder Norbert Jongerius ran into the fence trying to chase a ball hit by Christian Diaz, which cleared for a homerun.
Hereafter, Shaldimar Daantji tripled over the centerfielder, but was left behind.
Two runs were added in the sixth.
With one out, Legito doubled, then Gianison Boekhoudt homered.
With two outs, it was Rien Vernooij, who tripled for the home team, but he also stranded on third base.
In the seventh, Daantji led off with a walk and went on to score the next run on a 2-out single by Legito.
Three more runs followed in the eighth inning off the fourth pitcher for UVV.
With one out, Urving Kemp tripled and scored on wild pitch.
Pinch-hitter Mourik Huijser then walked and Shaldimar Daantji doubled.
A grounder by Gyenuar Lopez and single by Benjamin Dille then brought them in and lifted the lead to 11-2.
Neptunus-starter Diegomar Markwell went six innings and raised his record to 6-0.
