The Hawks wins twice to stay unbeaten in exhibition season

DORDRECHT / HAARLEM (Neth.) -
Mampaey The Hawks added two victories in the weekend to remain the unbeaten leader in this years exhibition season.
The team from Dordrecht won 12-0 at home on Saturday vs. First Divisionist Blue Devils.
On Sunday, The Hawks won 8-1 at Onze Gezellen, which plays in the second highest division ('Overgangsklasse').

Last season, The Hawks finished in last place in the big league, then lost the best-of-five Promotion/Relegation Play-Off againt DSS.
As a result, DSS promoted and The Hawks relegated.
However, when ADO Lakers withdrew its team in February, The Hawks was asked to fill in the vacant spot, meaning the club returned to the big league.
And now, during the preparations for the upcoming season, The Hawks is currently unbeaten, having won all of its six games.
Next weekend, The Hawks plays two games against Twins.
The Hawks vs. Blue Devils
On Saturday, playing at home, Blue Devils was a tough opponent, as The Hawks led only 4-0 after five innings.
After some changes in the Blue Devils-defense, The Hawks was able to increase its lead to 12-0.
Evan Simons started for The Hawks.
He was followed on the mound by Bobby Carrington, Mitchell Berghmans and Kevin van Veen.
The Hawks vs. Onze Gezellen
On Sunday, playing in Haarlem, Head Coach Eugene Henson again used four pitchers.
Jeldwin Orman started and was succeeded by Maikel Berghmans, José Moreno and Quinn Tramm.
The highlight in today's game was a homerun by Stephen Henson.
