Vince Rooi then brought in the first run via a sacrifice fly and two more were added when Mark-Jan Moorman followed with a homerun.
In the bottom of the eighth, Sedley Karel took over for Huijer and he gave up the first run allowed by the Pioniers-pitching staff.
Norbert Jongerius led off with a single and Tony Enos walked, then Gilmer Lampe added an RBI-double.
UVV scored its second run in the ninth off of Swen Huijer on a grounder by Jongerius.
