Amsterdam Pirates scored three unearned runs with two outs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead off of starter Nick Winkel.
Roelie Henrique led off with a single and stole second base.
With one out, he advanced to third base when a strikeout for Delano Selassa ended in a throwing error.
Moments later, he scored on a sacrifice fly by Kalian Sams.
Selassa scored when Denzel Richardson followed with a double.
He then stole third base, Kenny Berkenbosch walked and Niels van Weert then contributed with a runscoring single.
Storks answered with one run in its first at bat off of starter Jim Ploeger.
The lefthander gave up an one-out double to Stephen Henson, who then advanced on a grounder by Luuk Visser and scored on a single by Ibrahin Redan.
Next, Amsterdam Pirates decided the game with an 8-run rally in the second inning on five basehits.
Eight of the first nine batters reached base off of Winkel.
Rookie Raydley Legito and Roelie Henrique led off with singles, then advanced on a grounder by Sharlon Schoop.
Hereafter, the bases got loaded when Delano Selassa walked.
A following walk for Kalian Sams led to the first run in this rally, a wild pitch for the second one.
With runners on second and third base, Denzel Richardson connected well and hit a 3-run homerun.
The bases then got loaded again when next batter Kenny Berkenbosch reached on an error, Niels van Weert doubled and Jair van Borkulo walked.
The next run was scored on another wild pitch and a grounder by Raydley Legito brought in the seventh run in this at bat.
With two outs, Roelie Henrique walked and then Sharlon Schoop produced a runscoring single.
With that, he batted in the eighth run and all nine batters had now reached base in this inning.
In the top of the third inning, Diornick Sanchez became the new pitcher for Storks.
He got four baserunners, but two of them reached on a fielder's choice, as a previous runner was forced out.
Sanchez held Pirates scoreless in this inning.
Trailing 11-1, Storks scored its second run in the bottom of the third.
Jim Ploeger walked lead-off hitter Joel Hernandez, who moved into scoring position on a single by Stephen Henson.
He later scored on a grounder by Ibrahin Redan.
Henson's basehit was the last one Storks hit in this game.
Amsterdam Pirates added another run in the fourth.
With one out, Roelie Henrique walked, moved on a double by Sharlon Schoop and scored when Delano Selassa reached on an error.
The inning ended when Sanchez struckout Kalian Sams, which led to a double play, as Schoop was caught stealing.
A 4-run rally followed in the fifth off of new pitcher Brian van der Vlist, who had been the first baseman in the previous innings.
Denzel Richardson led off with his second homerun in the game (his fifth of the season).
Kenny Berkenbosch then singled, as did Jair van Borkulo with one out.
They respectively scored on a single by Raydley Legito and an error.
Legito later scored on a wild pitch.
The Amsterdam-scoring wasn't over yet, as the team had a 5-run rally with two outs in the sixth.
All five runs were unearned.
With two outs, Kenny Berkenbosch doubled, then a fly by rookie Sebastiaan van der Horst ended in an outfield-error, which could have been the third out.
Now, it led to the first run in this at bat.
Next, the bases got loaded when Van der Vlist walked Jair van Borkulo and Raydley Legito.
All three runners scored when Roelie Henrique followed with a baseclearing, 3-run double to reach base for the sixth time today.
Henrique then scored himself on a following triple by Sharlon Schoop.
Three more Amsterdam-runs were scored in the top of the seventh.
Emilson Haswell led off with a walk and Denzel Richardson singled (his fourth basehit in the game).
Kenny Berkenbosch then homered to increase the lead to 24-2.
Hereafter, Brian van der Vlist recovered.
Rookie Sebastiaan van der Horst flied out, then Van der Vlist struckout rookies Jair van Borkulo and Raydley Legito to close the at bat.
Pirates-starter Jim Ploeger walked Kelvin Knape with two outs in the fourth.
With his team leading, he needed one more inning to become the winning pitcher.
But he left the mound in the fifth, as Donny Breek took over.
He walked Joel Hernandez and Stephen Henson, but then was supported with a double play and another grounder.
Mike Groen pitched the sixth inning.
He walked Jurian Hansen with two outs, but he stranded on first base.
Rookie Naut Kragt then threw the seventh inning for the Amsterdam-team.
He retired the side and was credited with the win.
It was the second time this season that Kragt was credited with the win, while not really being the 'winning pitcher'.
On July 23, he took over the pitching from Rob Cordemans with two outs in the fifth inning and Pirates leading against Curaçao Neptunus.
Cordemans needed 1/3 inning to become the winning pitcher, but left after being hit on his arm by a hard comeback-grounder.
In all games of six innings or longer, the starting pitcher can only become the winning pitcher when he throws five complete innings.
When the starter throws less, the win is credited to a reliever.
In case only one reliever is used, he is credited with the win, what was the case on July 23.
When more than one reliever is used, the Official Scorer then determines which pitcher has been most effective and he is than credited with the win.
And that was the case today.
