Amsterdam Pirates opened the score with three runs in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Ronald Bloem, who gave up three consecutive extra-basehits.
The righthander made his first start of the season and took the mound instead of the announced Jayden Gonesh.
Bloem walked lead-off hittter Roelie Henrique, who stole second and third base moments later.
He scored when Sharlon Schoop followed with his first of four doubles in today's game.
Hereafter, Gilmer Lampe delivered a triple that brought in Schoop.
Shortly thereafter, Lampe scored the third run on a double by Kalian Sams.
The scoring then suddenly ended when the next three batters all grounded out.
Pirates rallied for five runs in the second at bat.
Delano Selassa led off with a walk, then Max Clarijs doubled.
Both scored on a following single by Roelie Henrique.
He then stole his third base in two innings and advanced on a wild pitch, which also resulted in a walk for Sharlon Schoop.
After the latter also had moved on another wild pitch, Storks short stop Stephen Henson caught a line drive by Gilmer Lampe.
The scoring continued when Kalians Sams drilled the ball over the leftfield-fence for his league-leading eighth homerun this season.
And that lifted the lead to 8-0.
A 10-run difference was reached in the third inning.
With one out, Max Clarijs walked and scored on a 2-out double by Sharlon Schoop.
When Schoop scored the tenth Amsterdam-run on a single by Gilmer Lampe, a pitching change followed.
Diornick Sanchez took over, walked Kalian Sams, but then got an inning-ending flyout.
Pirates scored once in the fourth.
This time, Kenny Berkenbosch led off with a walk, moved to third base on a single by Niels van Weert, then scored on a double play-grounder by Emilson Haswell, who had entered the game in the top of the fourth as the new third baseman for Amsterdam.
The next run was added with two outs in the fifth.
With one out, Sharlon Schoop recorded his third double, then scored on a 2-out single by Kalian Sams.
The bases got loaded hereafter when Denzel Richardson walked and pinch-hitter Jair van Borkulo singled, but a flyout ended the at bat.
With Amsterdam Pirates leading 12-0, Storks scored what would be its lone run in the top of the sixth.
In the first five innings, the team came into scoring position only twice off of Pirates-starter Juan Carlos Sulbaran.
In the first inning, the righthander gave up a lead-off single to Joel Hernandez.
He stole second base, but stranded there.
Sulbaran retired the side in the second inning, then gave up another lead-off singe in the third.
Kelvin Knape opened with a single, then moved on a 2-out single by Stephen Henson, but they also were left behind.
With one out in the fourth, Brian Raap singled for Storks, but he didn't get beyond first base off of Sulbaran, who retired the side again in the fifth.
Tom de Blok took over the Pirates-pitching in the top of the sixth and gave up the lone run to Storks.
He gave up a lead-off double to Stephen Henson.
He moved to third base on a single by Luuk Visser, then scored when Ibrahin Redan grounded into a double play.
In the bottom of the sixth, Amsterdam Pirates staged a 4-run rally off of American righthander William Sowers.
Emilson Haswell led off with a walk and Max Clarijs singled.
With one out, both scored on the fourth double today by Sharlon Schoop, who reached base for the fifth time.
Another double (the seventh by Pirates) then left the bat of next batter Gilmer Lampe and that brought in Schoop.
With two outs, Lampe scored the 16th Amsterdam-run on a single by Denzel Richardson.
Shairon Martis took the mound for Amsterdam Pirates in the top of the seventh.
He gave up a lead-off single to Jurian Hansen, but then struckout the next three batters to end the game.
In today's game, Pirates recorded seven doubles to raise its season-total to 43.
With that, the team leads the regular season in this category for third consecutive season.
