In tonight's game, the score was close from the beginning, but it was Hoofddorp Pioniers that hold the lead three times.
Despite the curfew-rule, which is in effect for evening-games, it was possible to play an extra inning.
It was then DSS/Kinheim that scored twice in the tenth inning on two errors to win the game.
Hoofddorp Pioniers opened the score in the top of the first inning off of starter Jelle Bing.
With two outs, Randolph Oduber drilled the ball into deep leftfield for a homerun.
This was the first homerun for Oduber in the Dutch big league.
In 2016, he played in eight regular season-games for Neptunus in the highest division and then was 6-for-17.
His lone extra-basehit then was a double.

Oduber played professionally in the Minor Leagues in 2010-2015 in the organization of the Washington Nationals.
In those seasons, the outfielder played in Rookie League, Single-A and Double-A.
After his lone season in the Netherlands, Oduber played professionally in Independent Leagues in 2017-2019.
He also played in Venezuela in the 2018-2019 Winter Season.
Last year, Oduber played for Fortitudo UnipolSai Bologna in the Italian Baseball League.
Oduber plays in the Netherlands Baseball Team since 2013 and appeared in 49 official games.
With the Orange-squad, Oduber participated in two World Baseball Classics (2013, 2017), three European Championships (2014, 2016, 2019), the Premier12 (2015) and the Super6 (2018).
DSS/Kinheim answered with two runs in its first at bat off of starter John Michael Halley.
The righthander walked lead-off hitter Thomas Bos.
With one out, he stole second base and moved on an infield-hit towards third base by Seb Visser.
A passed ball then enabled Bos to score the tying run.
Moments later, Visser scored the go-ahead run on a single by Donny Kuijper.
The home-team got the bases loaded when Milan Lammerts also singled and Wesley van Hemert walked.
Halley closed with a strikeout.
Pioniers immediately came alongside in the top of the second inning.
With one out, Denzel Brooks (fielder's choice) was on first base and he scored the tying run on a triple by Duncan Beljaards.
Pioniers then took the lead for the second time by scoring a run in the third inning.
Raul Jacobs led off with a double, moved on a wild pitch and scored on an one-out single by Randolph Oduber.
A double play ended the at bat.
After Pioniers had left a runner behind on second base in the top of the fourth, DSS/Kinheim scored twice in its fourth at bat.
In the previous two innings, the team got only one baserunner, who stranded on first base.
In the fourth, lead-off hitter Wesley van Hemert was hit by a pitch.
After he had moved into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Mick van Vliet, the bases got loaded when Nick Hofer walked and Thomas Bos reached on an infield-hit towards third base.
DSS/Kinheim then tied the scored when John Michael Halley walked Jochem Koedijk and took the lead on another infield-hit towards the leftside of the infield by Jason Jakobus.
The inning ended when Seb Visser grounded into a double play, but DSS/Kinheim now led 4-3.
The next three innings remained scoreless, but Pioniers left six runners behind, four of them in scoring position.
With two outs in the top of the fifth, Mark Smit doubled for Pioniers and moved on a wild pitch, but he would strand on third base.
In the sixth, Pioniers got the bases loaded with one out.
Reangelo Willems led off with a walk, which brought in new pitcher Rick Timmermans, who made his first appearance of the season.
With one out, Jorrit Penseel (who had just entered as new third baseman) reached on an error, then Timmermans walked Jaison Gijsbertha, who also played in his first game of the year.
Timmermans then followed with a strikeout and the inning ended when Raul Jacobs flied out.
With that, three runners were left behind.
In the seventh, Mark Smit singled, but this time, he was left behind on second base.
In the same three at bats, DSS/Kinheim got only one baserunner.
The team was retired in order in the fifth and sixth inning.
After having retired nine batters in a row, John Michael Halley gave up a 2-out single to Seb Visser in the seventh, but he stranded on first base.
In the top of the eighth, Pioniers came alongside by scoring an unearned run off of Moreno Vork, who had taken over the pitching with one out in the previous inning.
He walked lead-off hitter Denzel Brooks, who stole second base with one out, moved on a grounder by Jaison Gijsbertha and scored the tying run on a passed ball.
In the bottom of the eighth, rookie Lucca van der Schouw became the new pitcher for Pioniers.
The lefthander walked lead-off hitter Milan Lammerts, who moved into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Matis Crouwel, who had entered the game in the fifth.
When Van der Schouw also walked Mick van Vliet, he was relieved by Sem Lauf.
Two flyouts ended the at bat.
There were no scoring opportunities in the ninth and so, the game went into extra innings.
As the 10:30 PM curfew had not yet been reached, it was possible to start the tenth inning.
When a new inning begins before the curfew has been reached, it has to be completed.
In the top of the tenth inning, Pioniers took the lead for the third time, but also left three runners behind.
Jair Bogaerts led off with a walk, which was followed by pitching change.
Debuting rookie Rick Rizvić took over, while Bodhi de Vreede was inserted as pinch-runner for Bogaerts.
Rizvić began with a strikeout, but then walked Jorrit Penseel, who was also replaced by a pinch-runner, Duco Nuijten.
De Vreede then scored on a pinch-hit single by Joost van den Bergh to put Pioniers ahead for the third time, 5-4.
Hereafter, Rizvić struckout another batter, but got the bases loaded when he hit Raul Jacobs with a pitch.
However, the three runners were left behind, as a grounder closed the at bat.
In the bottom of the tenth, Pioniers was one out away from the win, but in the end was left empty-handed.
Lead-off hitter Donny Kuijper flied out to centerfielder Mark Smit, but hereafter, Milan Lammerts singled.
Matis Crouwel then also flied out Smit for the second out.
Next batter Mick van Vliet hit a double down the leftfield-line.
That brought Lammerts to third base and he was able to score the tying run when leftfielder Randolph Oduber made an error.
After Bram Blokker had been inserted as pinch-runner for Van Vliet on second base, Nick Hofer walked.
Yassir Lachhar then took over the pitching, but he got the bases loaded when he walked Thomas Bos.
Next batter Jochem Koedijk hit the ball into centerfield, where Mark Smit appeared to make his third catch in the inning.
With that, the game would have ended with a 4-4 score.
However, Smit dropped the ball, all runners advanced and Blokker scored the winning run.
With that, Rick Rizvić became the winning pitcher in his big league-debut.
His father Robi Rizvić played in 96 games in the highest league in five seasons (1993; 1995, 2000-2002) for Amsterdam Pirates, De Spartaan, Xanthos and Hoofddorp Pioniers.
