Earlier, Twins Oosterhout announced that Belgian National Team-catcher Axel Poesmans also will play for the team next year. Last Wednesday, the club confirmed the addition of catcher Yurdion Martie, who this season played for RCH Memorie Sieraden.

The transfer-period ends on November 15.

Towards the end of September, the club annouced that Rob Hendriks was named as new Head Coach as the successor of Adonis Kemp. In 2023, Hendriks will be assisted by Bas Nooijens and Berend Ruben.

In the past three seasons, the 28-year old Terrence Garcia played baseball on Curaçao in the Rookie League for Firebirds, with whom he reached the Play-Offs. In 2018, Garcia played in the Curaçaon competition for Wild Cats.

In the 2015-2016 American college-season, the lefthanded pitcher played for the baseball-team of Genesee Communnity College in Batavia, New York. In that season, Garcia also regularly played as first baseman and in 53 games, he batted .340 with one homerun, scored 40 runs and batted in 29. The Cougars baseball-team plays in Division 3 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

In the past years, several players from Curaçao and Aruba have played (and studied at) for Genesee. Amongst them infelder John Polonius, who since 2020 is the short stop of Curaçao Neptunus.

After his college-period, Garcia returned to Curaçao where he went on to play for Wild Cats and later Firebirds.

In the past few days, Twins Oosterhout confirmed that pitchers Raf Cocu and Simon Gross and infielder Jerzy van Gool have stayed with the team.
