Amsterdam Pirates trailed 3-2 halfway the third inning, then turned the game around and led 7-2 after four at bats.
Six of those seven Amsterdam-runs were unearned.
In the remainder of the game, Pirates added five more runs and ended the game via the mercy-rule.
The team had two 4-run rallies.
Amsterdam Pirates scored the first run in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Jack Wagner.

From there, the game belonged to Amsterdam Pirates.
Quick Amersfoort was kept scoreless and the home-team added nine more runs.
Sven van de Sanden didn't encounter problems on the mound and not only threw his first complete game of the season, but also in his big league-career.

In the top of the sixth, Ibrahin Redan led off with a walk and advanced on a wild pitch with one out, but was left behind on second base.
Van de Sanden retired the side again in the seventh.
In the meantime, Pirates had taken more distance en route to a 10-run difference.
The team scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth, three of which were unearned.
Rookie Ilyas van den Bos led off with his second single in the game, then Roelie Henrique reached on a bunt-single.
When that was followed by a throwing error, Van den Bos was able to move to third base.
He then scored on a single by Duco Nuijten.
A double-steal gave the home-team runners on second and third base and both scored on a following throwing error on a grounder by Denzel Richardson.
He then stole second base, advanced to third base on a flyout and scored on a wild pitch.
Pirates scored its next run in the bottom of the sixth off of debuting pitcher Jay van de Horik.
He was welcomed in the big league with a lead-off triple by Denzel Richardson, who scored on a following single by Alex Madera.
With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Pirates had another 4-run rally to reach a 10-run difference.
First, Van de Horik recorded his first big league-strikeout when he eliminated lead-off hitter Ilyas van den Bos.
But the righthander then walked Jason Jakobus and gave up a single to Roelie Henrique.
Three runscoring basehits followed.
First, pinch-hitter Jules Cremer delivered an RBI-double, then Denzel Richardson and Alex Madera added RBI-singles, which lifted the lead to 11-2.
For Richardson, this was his fourth basehit in the game.
Next, the bases got loaded when Kenny Berkenbosch walked.
The 10-run difference was then reached when an error was made on a force play-grounder by Oliver van der Wijst.
